The sound Doh Bamar inspires patriotism, incites unity and instigates
national spirit and pride. Every Burmese who hears the word Doh Bamar
Asiayone becomes eager to rely on and join it.

The Burmese people have lived independently in their own country, under the
rule of their own king and their own court for over 2000 years. Therefore we
are the masters of our country, not slaves under the colonial rule. So we call
ourselves Thakin (master). Secondly, the Burmese people are the owners
and masters of their country. Though we are under the colonial rule, they
could not claim both the country and the people under their rule. Only the
country was under their rule and the people are still the original masters of
their own country. Thirdly, the ruling classes of governor, commissioner,
deputy commissioner, township officer, etc. in Burma are just the public
servants who are responsible to protect the lives and wealth of their tax payer
masters or the people of Burma.

In the word Myanmar, though the first syllable Myan means fast and
solid, it has nasal sound and cannot cover all the ethnics viz. Shan,
Karen, Chin, Kachin, Mon, Rakhine, Palaung, Taungthu, Salon, Naga and
Myanmar. Thus we chose the word Bahmar to cover all these ethnic
people of our country. This word has strong sense and sound. And also we
chose the alphabet . because it has unique sound of bah unlike
other alphabet .

The name Myanmar Country was given by Burman royals. It is wrong.
Not only Myanmar or Burman people live in our country but also many
ethnic peoples, viz. Kachin, Karen, Kayah, Chin, Pa-o, Palaung, Mon,
Myanmar (Burman), Arakan, Shan, etc. are living together. Thus we do not
use the word Myanmar country, Myanmar state but use the word
Bamar country, Bamar state. Only this word will be true and
appropriate. All the ethnic peoples living together in Burma are called
Bamar (Burmese).
