How to connect to your heavenly

blessing
Ephesians 1:3; Proverbs 10:22; Galatians 3:13, 14

We have been blessed by God in the heavenly places already in Christ Jesus. These
blessings make rich the children of God. We are loaded by God with everything we ever
needed. The land where we occupy spiritually is loaded with unfathomable resources.
Until we are aware of the resources, we cannot possess them. They are our right but there
are access codes to them.

Let us not forget that our covenant fathers (the children of Abraham) enjoyed this
blessing everywhere they went. Is it Jacob? Is it Isaac? Is it Joseph? Is it Daniel in
Babylon? Name it!

Let me take the time to describe the typography of the kingdom of God, where we
belong.

“But the land whither thou go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh
water of the rain of heaven: a land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the
Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the
year.” (Deuteronomy 11:11, 12)

The kingdom where we belong does not give room for failure of any kind. It is a blessed
land. We are not blessed by God and being placed on a cursed land. The only thing is that
this spiritual land is being governed with divine rules or ordinances that must be strictly
follow if the blessings must produce (Deuteronomy 11:13, 14).

“For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land… A land wherein thou shall eat
bread without scarceness, thou shall not lack any thing in it…” (Deuteronomy 8:7, 9)

By virtue of what we are surrounded with, we are expected to fail or be fruitless in life at
all. The kingdom of His dear Son is situated in a most fruitful hill (Isaiah 5:1). Nothing
less!

Let me take a little time to list out our covenant blessings:

1. Progress (Proverbs 4:18)

2. Success (Psalm 1:1-3). We are fashioned to prosper.
3. Favour (Psalm 44:1-3).
4. Wealth (Psalm 112:1-5)
5. Fruitfulness (Isaiah 32:15; Psalm 92:12-15; John 15:1-7). You can’t be filled with the
Holy Spirit and not be fruitful.
6. Peace (Isaiah 48:17, 18; Psalm 119:169; 2 Peter 1:2)
7. Long life (Psalm 91:14-16)
8. Divine direction- We are not supposed to get lost in the crowd of life (Isaiah 30:21;
Psalm 32:8, 9; Isaiah 48:17)
9. Open heaven (Haggai 1:4-10; Deuteronomy 11:10-14; Malachi 3:8-12)
10. Comfort and divine help (John 14:26; Deuteronomy 8:7, 9)

Trading codes for accessing these blessings

1. Purpose. Have you ever thought about why God should protect you, provide for you,
or in summary, give you His divine providence? The simple answer is ‘Purpose’. If you
don’t attend to His divine purpose for your life, you may live below His prospective
providence for you.
2. Diligence (Proverbs 22:29; 14:23)
3. Obedience to God (Job 36:11)
4. Commitment to God’s covenant demands (James 1:22-25; Deuteronomy 7:9-15)
5. Kingdom commitment (Matthew 6:33)
6. Liberality (Psalm 41:1-3; Job 29:1-13; Proverbs 11:24-26; 13:7; 24:11, 12)
7. Righteousness (Psalm 92:12; Proverbs 13:22; Ecclesiastes 2:26; Job 22:21-30; Psalm
112:1-10)
8. Prophetic mentorship connection (2 Chronicles 26:5-14; Ezra 5:1, 2; 6:14)
9 Honoring God (1 Samuel 2:30)
