The nominal planning includes network dimension-

plications and business case evaluations and detailed
planning. The detailed planning produces a technical
solution that is optimized in terms of customer re-
quirements and expenses. The fully documented so-
lution is ready to be implemented.
The network optimization process produces enhance-
ment proposals that enable the customer to improve
the problematic areas and to enhance the network
performance and quality of service. The optimization
provides also useful information about the current
status of the network.

of wireless broadband networks (WLAN /WLL, Flash-
OFDM) and delivering tailored customer solutions.
Measurement Services
We provide customer-oriented and independent
measurement services for wireless network analy-
sis, optimization and troubleshooting. The measure-
ments provide valuable information from both mobile
(GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSxPA) and broadcast-
ing network (FM, DVB-T/T2/H) performance. Fur-
thermore, we provide various RF spectrum meas-
urements and analysis to manage problems such as
co-site interference.
Measurements and their reporting are tailored to
meet the customer needs. The measurements can be
focused among others on road networks, cities, resi-
dential areas, real estates, sea/water areas and train
networks. Based on a contract the measurements can
be done in various locations.
The mobile network measurement device is Anite
Nemo Outdoor/Handy and the Broadcasting net-
works are being measured using unique mobile meas-
urement system developed by Digita.

Technology Evaluation
We provide wide-ranging and independent compe-
tence to network technology comparison and evalu-
ation. The evaluation helps customer to nd the
best technical solution for the application.
Digita has an extensive experience in evaluation
and piloting of diferent technologies (Flash-OFDM,
CDMA, DVB-T/T2/H, T-DAB). Digita is also active on
international forums in development and standardi-
zation of new technologies.
GIS-analysis
We provide versatile geographical information based
statistical analysis that can bring valuable informa-
tion to among others assessment of new business
opportunities and placing of new services. The anal-
yses are highly customer-oriented and done based
on customer denitions and needs.
The analysis can be based on various materials,
such as coverage areas, administrative regions, in-
frastructure, population and housing, but also on
customers own material. Additional material can
be acquired from Statistics Finland and Population
Register Center of Finland.
Antenna System Designing
We provide comprehensive antenna system design-
ing and measurement services for customers that
need transmitting antenna or antenna group solu-
tions for wireless telecommunication networks. For
antenna manufacturers we can provide solution
evaluations.
Besides the technical solution the antenna design-
ing provides overall antenna gain and radiation pat-
tern predictions that can be used for calculation ra-
dio network coverage predictions. As a part of the
designing process we are also able to carry out the
RFQ process and antenna procurement.
