SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Law Firm Integration, Innovation & Cost Reduction After assessing the situation, led the client to create a strategic
vision and action plan to implement improvements to people, process, and technology. Initiatives included e-discovery,
predictive coding and other innovative techniques. Within two years, the firm has a standard set of systems, the
management team is in active communication, and more than $1M of annual costs are recovered.
Plant Turnaround Advised and guided a large manufacturing plant to create a new cross-level team SPIRIT and a
complete transformation program. Within 20 months, the newly engaged team completely turned their under-
performing plant into the companys recognized 'plant of the year'.
Tobacco Surveillance Worked with a large state agency to completely redesign and execute their operations.
Facilitated the creation of a vision for change and championed the fortitude, tenacity, and ability to focus on
performance outcomes based on key organizational priorities. Designed & implemented an innovative system that
improved data accuracy, lessened data capture costs, and improved analysis and reporting at the state and local levels.
The new system also identified an additional $3M in revenue.
Technical Architecture Design and Implementation Created an approach that defined business and technology
architectures used to guide and transform the companys processes and information to be more accurate, consistent,
efficient, and effective.
Architecture Response Team Founded and managed a new management consulting organization and led many
successful change initiatives at a variety of client organizations, including Apple, Aetna, the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts, E.I. DuPont, Proctor & Gamble, Mobil, Dow Chemical, The University of California, Stanford University,

and the World Bank. Received Marketing Achievement Award, generated $20M in annual revenue, and transformed
engineers to deliver consulting.
Consolidation Spearheaded an enterprise-wide project to consolidate the companys infrastructure in order to
enhance the efficiency of its IT operations and networks. Crafted the vision, strategies and led the implementation,
including delivering hundreds of workshops around the world. Restructured global IT operations using cloud and a
24x7 follow-the-sun support model, saved $400M over two years.
Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS) Designed and developed a practical and highly secure
solution to e-prescribe and dispense federally controlled medications. The pilot system now serves as the basis for the
DEA national standard and provides EMR integration. Engaged appropriate business and government organizations to
fully develop the system and address all security aspects including authentication, non-repudiation, record integrity,
legal sufficiency, signature verification and confidentiality.
