This term we have been working on our story writing skills. ur !o"us has been on writing des"riptive senten"es#
"reating dynami" "hara"ters and organi$ing story elements. %e have also spent time to edit and revise our
stories into !inal good "opies. &tudent ' has a good grasp o! how to write a "reative story. &he "an write detailed
senten"es and is able to organi$e them into paragraphs. &he is developing her abilities in using des"riptive
words that help "reate an image and really bring the story to li!e. &tudent ' uses imagination and humor to keep
the reader engaged. &tudent ' is en"ouraged to take more "han"es and to write using more "omple( senten"es.
&he will also bene!it !rom more pra"ti"e with editing her work in"luding !inding spelling and pun"tuation
mistakes.

&tudent ' shows enthusiasm and a desire to learn in math. &he is o!ten -ui"k to determine solutions !or !ra"tion
problems. &tudent ' uses prior knowledge o! math strategies# in"luding multipli"ation# division# and patterns# to work
through new "on"epts. &he has gained a strong understanding o! interpreting and "onstru"ting !ra"tions. &tudent ' is
very "apable o! su""ess in math# but o!ten la"ks "on!iden"e in her abilities. %ith e(tra en"ouragement and support#
she is able to apply her skills. &he re-uires more time with "omparing and ordering !ra"tions# but . believe she will

"lass time wisely. &tudent ' has learned new strategies !or resear"hing her human body system and keeping
her in!ormation organi$ed. &tudent ' works very well in a group setting and o!ten takes a leadership role.

"olour4. &tudent ' has improved signi!i"antly in art this term. &he has learned how to use a
variety o! te"hni-ues to "reate images using line# shape# and !orm. &he is skil!ul at "reating
shades o! "olours by mi(ing paints and is able to demonstrate a beauti!ul te"hni-ue in painting.
&tudent ' has an enthusiasti" and positive attitude towards art. 5eep up the good work# &tudent
