While reflecting back at my transcripts from my four years of high school I am, for the
most part, content with the results of my grades. While, I am almost content with my final
transcripts I do not think that they represent my full capabilities. There are some clear
representations of when my grades slipped bases on a laid-back attitude towards school, when
that should not have happened. There were also different situations when my grades we not
where I would prefer them to be based on complications based on either me leaving the school
year early or just personal mistakes but those are all mistakes on me.

With all of my grades over the past four years I would probably be most proud of my
science grades. Overall my grades in science classes have been all As and Bs. This has
significance to me because I plan on entering the medical field for a career which goes with the
science field mainly, which shows me that I would do good on that aspect. Of all my class
subjects, science is my favorite so I tend to put extra effort into those classes which makes me
happy when my efforts show.

Of my grades, the classes that I am the most disappointed with would be my classes in
math subjects. I have never really liked or been good at mathematics and I think my grades
really show that. While most of the school subjects that I have taken are at a A or B average my
math grades are more at a C average. These grades that were not up to the average of the rest
made me want to work harder, which it did, but math is just not a subject that I understood and it
frustrated me to know that me working extra hard in these classes was not showing
disappointed me.

If I could retake any courses it would most likely be my Algebra II class from last year. I
never really understood anything in that class and I hardly passed any test. If I was to retake
that class I would take extra mentoring sessions to help me understand it and read more of the
book in depth because that book and lessons were not easy to understand at all. I would also
retake my pre AP English classes from freshman and sophomore year. I would because those
classes required more reading that regular english classes and I did not like reading before. So
if I was to retake those classes I would read the books assigned to us with more attention to
score better on exams and such. If I was to retake those classes I would assure that I would
receive a higher grade because I see the faults in my ways of study and work ethic.
My attendance record has never been too much of a concern to me because I never
really missed school unless it was an appointment or I was too sick to come to school.
Considering that I do get sick a lot I did miss more school than I wanted to, but I always made
sure I was up to date with missing assignments and make up work. But of all my years in high
school my year 12 attendance was the best, and freshman was the worst, which showed that as
the years went on I understood the importance of being at school to learn the required material
and be ready for exams on the learned material.
