conveyors, specifically designed to handle dry and dusty products,

CHAIN CONVEYORS
Ilchmann Chain Conveyors are
known for their low maintenance
requirement and high reliability -
they have proven themselves
under extreme conditions.
Ilchmann Chain Conveyors are
highly adaptable in respect to
conveying lines due to a high
degree of flexibility in layouts.
These conveyors are also avai-
lable as a round bottom design
to ensure a complete cleanout,
and as ex-proof for use in
hazardous areas.
For the transportation of bulk
materials, horizontally or inclined.
The design depends on the appli-
cation and characteristics of
the product. Different Screw
Conveyor types are available
for a variety of tasks: a standard
Screw Conveyor for the pure
product transportation, a pull-off
Screw Conveyor to discharge
hoppers, but also special stuffing
Screw Conveyors, e.g. for press
feeding applications. Also availa-
ble in an ex-proof design for the
use in hazardous areas.
The easiest way of vertical trans-
portation for various bulk materi-
als with high volume throughput.
Available as Belt or Chain Bucket
Elevators. Optionally supplied
with safety devices for the
detection of misalignment, bea-
ring temperature and zero-speed.
Together with different available
pressure relief systems a
safe operation is guaranteed,
especially when used in hazar-
dous areas.
SLIDE GATES / VALVES
For a safe shut-off or dosing of dry and free-flowing bulk materials.
Mostly used under chain conveyors or silos. The operation can be
manually, pneumatically or motor-driven. Optional features can be
added, such as adjustable seals or a positioning indicator for the
sliding plate. Ilchmann Valves are available in ex-proof design for
the use in hazardous areas.

GIRDLE POCKET ELEVATORS
CHUTES / DIVERTERS
To connect conveying elements Ilchmann Frdertechnik can also
deliver custom-made chutes or diverters. The chutes are made to fit
local re-quirements. According the client request they can be inter-
nally lagged with bolted-in wear protection (such as UHMW, Hardox,
ceramics, or any other high-wear-resistant material). The operation
of the diverters can be manually, pneumatically or motor-driven.
BELT CONVEYORS SIDEWALL BELT CONVEYORS
Ilchmann Belt Conveyors can be
offered in a rain-covered or open
construction. They are especially
made for long conveying distan-
ces, horizontal and/or slightly
inclined applications and high
volume throughput.

Frdertechnik are the Totally
Enclosed and Self-Cleaning
Belt Conveyors from Hi Roller
Enclosed Belt Conveyors (USA).
These specialised elevators
allow a gentle vertical transport
of difficult products (e.g. very
abrassive, sticky or sensitive
products). At the elevator boot
the product is fed from the
inside directly into the pockets
(no scooping) at the elevator
head the product drops out of
the pockets just by its own
weight (no centrifugal discharge).
Also available for hot or lumpy
materials with edge lengths
up to 400 mm.
Suitable for a wide variety of
applications in many industries.
(Corrugated) Sidewall Belt
Conveyors can handle most bulk
materials, and offer the advan-
tage of being able to convey
horizontal and elevate at a steep
angle of incline (up to 90). For
the vertical type a twisted upper
to lower conveying direction can
be designed. Available in an open
or fully enclosed casing.

DESIGN
Extensive use of CAD and CAM technology enables Ilchmann Frdertechnik
to respond to design adjustments and changes in a quick and effective manner.
Necessary alterations to existing designs can, thus, be made in a timely and
precise fashion.
MANUFACTURING
Specialised contractors manufacture all of our products, using state-of-the-art
production facilities, guaranteeing fast and precise production.
Final product inspection will be done on site by us, or together with our client.
INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
Our contractors ensure precise and efficient manufacture and installation of
Ilchmann Frdertechnik conveying equipment and components. Ilchmann
Frdertechnik GmbH supervises both, the installation, as well as commissioning
and thus ensures reliability and quality of the product.
INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE
Ilchmann Frdertechnik offers professional inspections for existing conveying
equipment. The client receives a detailed inspection report and will be informed
about the status of his equipment. Maintenance agreements can be made to
ensure maximum availability of the plant with a minimum of downtime.
REPAIR & RETROFITTING
Ilchmann Frdertechnik also offers to execute repairs, or retro-fittings, of existing
conveying equipment irrespective of the equipments origin. Ilchmann Frdertechnik
provides specialists who will carry out all the necessary repairs, and re-commission
the system after completion of the work.
