History or introduction:
The word Nirala stands for exceptional, distinctive, one of its kind, and Nirala has
stood true to its name since its establishment.

Lately one must have noticed that Nirala has undergone an enormous
metamorphosis in the last couple of years, totally changing its shape and outlook.
Since 1997 Nirala has embarked upon recapturing its shrinking consumer market
which was being slashed down majorly by new entrants and especially by changing
preferences of the consumers.

Many of the products are as original as they were 2 generations ago yet they are
made and served in a millennium way. Nirala has made additions to its product line
by means of continuous research and development in terms of product as well as
marketing concept.
Five Managerial functions:

Planning:
The company’s planning is according to its goals. The company makes plan
according to its requirements, demands, supplies, quality.

Planning for demands and supplies:


Nirala plans its demands n supplies according to
customer’s reqiurments.It is planned according to the customers needs and wants.
Planning for customer requirements:
To provide best quality. To attract customer towards nirala,it always
makes new plans for packaging. Promotional campaigns and especially product
specifications. A bright and catchy outlook has been given way to attract the youths
especially where consumers are charmed by the flashy red and yellow label.

Planning for production and inputs:


RNT deptt works to manage production quality.
Nirala is offering snacks which are mostly produced by confectioners and not any
Snack company. By making these snacks more accessible in the form of air tight
packets and their placement in different stores apart from Nirala chains itself
enhances it likelihood of increased sales. Nirala also gloats about its products being
of the highest quality standards and being prepared from all pure inputs.nirala
makes plans for making extra sweets on occasions, festivals and activities.

Planning for quality:


Nirala plans n emphasis on quality. Nirala Milk, RasMalai,
Nirala Desi Ghee, Koolfies and Sweet Meats are all related items from the dairy line
whereas products such as Snips snacks and Samosas etc. are all correlated and
belong to the house of salty products. to make them all it uses best dairy n other
products and to increase n provide best quality to customers.

Plannings for new products:


Nirala plans vigorously on new products. it takes risks to
launch new product in market. it makes best plans before launching. Use right n
pure products. recently nirala has launched its new products such as , Snips
(packaged salted snacks), Nirala Milk and Sugar Free Sweets. n their sales is going
good

Organizing:
Nirala sweets does not call nirala as an
organization they call a “FAMILY”. All the
people working in it starting from the CEO to the
LOWER KARIGRS r all family members

Organizing labor to manage work load:


Nirala is a well known n wide
organiation.nirala is divided into several departments n each departments has a
head on it that keep an eye on the whole deptt.works load is divided between these
departments and they manage nirala in this way. Each deptt has its own works and
jobs to do. Departments according to major specialized areas

Organizing demands n quality:


Nirala organizes its quality level by giving its
cooks instructions that how its sweets will produce. What will be the criteria
while cooking? Even fixed recopies are provided in every it’s product making
company. In what way it will pack n create n supply to provide for excellent
quality and innovative products which not only taste good but are backed by
high quality standards.

As nirala is one of the wide sweets making company.it has divided
its workers in number of staff such as manger staff,sales staff,karigars (methai
makers),clinical staff,plans approval board.etc. - Karigar takes part in production as
well as supervises it and knows the major recipes , Production Manager sustains a
balance between supply and demand and has been given a company car

Benefits for staff:


- Benefits and facilities which are provided by
nirala to their staff are mentioned.there is health insurance for
workers n labour,mobile phone facility,accomadation (but it
depends on the post of a worker) Eid bonuses are given out on
a regular basis in the form of cash and other needed

Training for staff:


Nirala send its mangers n sales workers for higher studies as
training (recently nirala has sent its managers for bussines studies to LUMS).for
karigar there is also a special training. Training session is for all workers .in
training session they teach how to deal with customer,how methai is served by a
customer,how metahi is packed, if required product is not available how to
apologies a customer, sales man should b clean.hygienic training is also given to
workers,customer service traing is also given.Mr Arshad ur Rehman is training
exective of nirala who handles traing of workers n staff.

Leading:
Leading qualities required for executives:
Highly educated, experinecd in their fields,
honest, hardworking, these qualities are required to nirala for best leading.
Leading qualities also include how practical they are because 85% work in nirala
depends on practical,qualifications,all the qualities are checked that either they can
lead or not.

Trainings n courses to be a good leader:

Training session is for all workers. recently nirala has sent its
managers for business st

Controlling:
Control on production and labor:
There are different deptt to control production n
labour.production manger controls supplies, maintain high quality and
standardization, controls the machinery. Shift manger also control production n
labour.every month each department is checked for controlling variance.

Human resource manager:

Human Resource Manager has no subordinate it works independently without any


assistant knows all the major motivational techniques and packages collects data
formally and informally about the employees’ behavior and working tries to identify
the need of the employee and hence motivates him
Accordingly keeps a record of employees and complies a report which is submitted
to the CEO of the company. the main control is in the hand of HRM.

Overall impression:
Nirala
Is serving our heritage by making n serving desi sweets promoting our culture
everywhere.motivatating our culture n tradition to other places.Nirala is trying to
provide best quality products and services to its customer. Upholding our traditions
of honesty, integrity in its dealing with customers, suppliers and employees.
