Uses : To ascertain the level of efficiency.
Levels : Blue collar as well as white collar workers and supervisory cadre employees.

Main Features : It is a Likert type scale consisting of 14 items with 5 response alternatives. The
immediate officers are required to rate how well the particular subordinate was doing on such of the 14
items. 1 score is assigned when responded on very poor similarly 5 scores are awarded if subject
responds on very well. All item scores are added to get a total score.
Reliability : Cronbachs alpha coefficient was found to be +.99.
Validity : The index of homogeneity and internal validity of the items were tested by point biserial
correlation. The coefficient of correlation between actual performance and the scores on this scale was
found to be .84 (N=200).
Time : No time limit.
Norms : Q1 and Q3 cut points can be used to classify the scores in High, Moderate and Low categories.
