Told to the Children Series
This series, now in its sixth year, has more than fulfilled the promise of the publish-
ers when they announced the first volumes. Children want and clamor for a "true
story," and nothing- fills this childish demand so fully and thoroughly as the retelling
of a classic. In this little series every volume is a retold classic, charmingly simple,
yet appreciative and convincing.
Every volume printed on pure white rag paper, with bold clear type, and illustrated
with eight full-page colored plates by well-known artists. Cloth covers with colored
siding. Size 5 x 6}{. 50c. per volume.
