Established as a Trust in Mar 2008 by 5 Bosch subsidiaries in India namely Bosch Limited (RBIN) Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd (RBIC) Bosch Rexroth India Ltd. (DCIN) Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd (RBEI) Robert Bosch Automotive Electronics India (RBAI) Each company puts in a percentage of its profit towards the working of the foundation. The presidents of these companies form the Trustees of the Foundation. Vocational Training and Health Care Our Reach Our Method We run our own projects in the automotive area. Projects in our focus areas are carried out through NGOs. Due diligence of NGO before partnership. Partnerships are yearly and is renewed if satisfactory. Monetary as well as knowledge support given to NGOs. Involvement of Bosch Volunteers in all our projects. Reimbursement policy in funding. Quarterly reports and visits given by NGOs. In skill training, mobilizing and placement of trainees carried out by NGOs.

Our Reach Vocational Training Current Indian Scenario Illiterate and dropouts : 44%+23% India's workforce that is technically trained: 9% 12.8mm enter workforce annually but facility to train only 3.1mm 15mm have to be trained every year for the nations requirement Infrastructure: ITI/ITC (1-3yr scheme) and Schools (2yrs) Low enrollment too: Obsolete training facilities, Outdated courses, absence qualified trainers, mindset Govt Initiative: NSDC, MES + Social Sector Initiatives The skill trainings offered by Bosch India Foundation, along with our partners, are aimed at these youth.

Orthopedic Surgeries for children with extreme cases of orthopedic problems, for 20 children every year along with Sparshvachana
2. Cleft Surgeries for about 700 children per eyar through GCCRI and Maya Foundations
3. Spinal Injury Rehabilitation for 60 per year with Association of People with Disability

Membership in various forum, such as the CII and partnership with other foundations have also allowed us to learn and reach out to yet more. 4. Active participation of the Bosch volunteers in the many Bosch entities /offices spread across India have also helped to take the activities to locations where needed.
