The Solar Energy
The Wind Energy
The Water Energy
Introduction
In this project, we made our magazine. As an editing crew manager, I appreciate and thank every eort has
been exerted from the beginning to the end. Every student in the crew had an imprint in this great work. We
faced hard obstacles. For me, the time was very short to be creative. I think every one of our team had his own
problems but by our determination we faced them easily by co-opertaing. In that time, I felt that we were a
coherent family. The brother helped his brother in every thing. Every one of us had a role to do in a speci c
time. Also, our teacher Mr. Ryan was co-operated with us to do all the work in the time.
Thanks to the teacher. Thanks to all the members of writing team. Thank you to browse this magazine.

RENEWABLE
Since the humans discovered the fossil fuel
every one of us start eecting on the earth
climate. In a speci c time our storage of this
fossil fuel will be nished and we will start
losing our civilization if we did not make any
great decision to make our energy renewable.

S
olar Power is one of the most com-
mon powers in the earth. It used to
convert the sun rays to electricity using
photovoltaics (PV) or concentrated solar
power (CSP). It is the best solution in the
world energy problem but also there are
some obstacles facing it. The main prob-
lem is that the equipments to generate
power from sun rays are very expensive.
T
he government of UAE was developed
an entire city to generate power from
many resources. It is called Masdar and
it is opened to all visitors from all around
the world. Masdar city will be copied to
all other cities in the world in the near
future in my opinion. This city is usually
depends on a large solar system that
generate power for it. It is called Shams
and this word means in Arabic The Sun.
The government of UAE are studying to
make many copies of Shams systems.
Also, Spain is one of the most countries
that depends on the solar energy. It
has more than 11 solar station. Most of
them are located in the south of Spain.

THE SOLAR
ENERGY
is the conversion of the sun rays to
any type of energy (mostly electricity)
by using special panels with some
battries for recharging in the night.

T
he solar system for generating pow-
er can be installed only in the sunny
places. The best places for that are de-
serts. In the near future the people will
start investing the desert to serve us. It
is very good solution instead of leaving
it for no thing. Unlike fossil fuel based
technologies, solar power does not lead
to any harmful emissions during op-
eration, but the production of the pan-
els leads to some amount of pollution.
S
olar energy is not available at night,
making energy storage an important
issue in order to provide the continuous
availability of energy.[102] Both wind
power and solar power are intermittent
energy sources, meaning that all avail-
able output must be taken when it is
available and either stored for when it
can be used, or transported, over trans-
mission lines, to where it can be used.
A
t the end, the solar systems could be
a good solution for the Arabian Gulf
countries because it has a hot weather.
So, the UAE government now are look-
ing for other sources instead of the fossil
fuel. One day we will miss the oil forever.

THE WIND ENERGY

Did you know that?
A single wind turbine can power
500 homes.

Wind Power is one of the most important powers on thw earth. It converts the wind
energy to a di erent type of power (usually electricity) by using huge wind turbines.
Many countries around the world used the wind energy as a source for generating elec-
tricity.
As of 2011, Denmark is generating more than a quarter of its electricity from wind and
83 countries around the world are using wind power to supply the electricity grid. In
2010, wind energy production was over 2.5% of total worldwide electricity usage, and
growing rapidly at more than 25% per annum.
Also, wind energy can not be generated everywhere. The suitable places for generat-
ing more power using wind are chosen from the scientists for example, you cant
put a wind turbine in a city because there is no wind there.
Did you know that?
Wind mills have been in use since
2000 B.C. and were rst devel-
oped in China and Persia.
The best suitable places to put the
wind turbines on are the coasts bec-
ause it has the most suitable wind ener-
gy to generate the power. Deserts, country
sides and oceans could be also very suitable pl-
aces to put the wind turbines on.

In addition, weather forecasting permits the electricity network to be readied for the
predictable variations in production that occur. Compared to the environmental im-
pact of traditional energy sources, the environmental impact of wind power is relative-
ly minor in terms of pollution. Wind power consumes no fuel, and emits no air pollu-
tion, unlike fossil fuel power sources.
The energy consumed to manufacture and transport the materials used to build a
wind power
plant is equal to the new energy produced by the plant within a few months.

At the End, The wind mills was a very important step to make the wind energy
idea. The wind energy are used around the whole world which make it app-
licable in our life with some problems that may face us. Someday, If you
face a stormy atmosphere, trust that there are some people used this
wind to bene t in a positive way.
