Job Description -Responsible for everyday management of the hotel and its staff -plan, organize, and direct all services -attend meetings for projects
-in charge of making anything from breads, rolls, pastries, and other baked goods -most work is in the morning -can work in local bakery or for companies -plan menus

Education Program Required Years Two Schools and Their Costs -associates degree may be needed for lower end hotels -IUP is around $22,000 and Penn State are around $32,000 -taking a computer training class will be helpful -Internships and firsthand experience are needed -computer training is needed
-apprentices study nutrition, basic baking, sanitization skills, and decorating -work experience is needed -normally you start as an assistant and move on up -IUP is around $22,000 and The Art Institute of Philadelphia is around $18,000 -must have 1-8 years of experience depending on the level of certification desired
