CURRICULUM PROJECTS:
Project1: SMS Display.
Project Overview:
Large LED matrix displays are commonly used for displaying running text and are
generally controlled from a unit, which is directly connected and located near the display.
The present design of SMS Display utilizes SMS technology of GSM mobile
service for updating the message text. The design embeds a GSM phone module. For
updating the display the message text is send as SMS to GSM module number. The
message reception can be secured by incorporating a password protection scheme.

Project 2: Buzzer controller for 8 team Quiz contests

Project Overview:
Buzzer controllers for 4 team quizzes are available. However, buzzer controllers
capable of handling 6 or 8 teams are hard to find. The project can be used for 8 teams and
can be easily expanded to accommodate more teams.
13 Hardware used: 74LS75 quad latch, 74LS08, and NE555 timer
