Ever wondered why people move and why
they stay?

Why people move and why they
stay?
People move because of a push or
pull factor. A push factor in this case
would be what makes someone want
to leave because of bad reasons
with where theyre currently at. A pull
factor would be what makes people
attracted to a certain area. People
now move for multiple reasons. Most
people usually move in search of
more job opportunities and a place
with less violence. Other reasons are
for better education systems since in
some places like China; the chances
of getting into an elite school is very
slim and since people who are
educated from foreign colleges are
statistically more adapted to lead.
People now, who move stay in a
certain place if they are satisfied with
their quality of life. For example,
since America has rights that protect
you and provides better quality in life
compared to some other countries it
is known as the Land Of
Immigrants. It also has diverse
cultures which helps a lot of
immigrants fit in resulting in them
staying.
People back then wouldve moved
for reasons such as gold, slavery,
religious rights, escaping wars, and
higher wages. For example, the
California gold rush was a pull
factor that attracted lots of people to
settle and try to hit it big. People who
lived in places like South America
would come for higher wages and
less wars, while people from
Germany would come for religious
and slavery related reasons. They
would stay if the quality of life
satisfied them or if they cant come
back again because of slavery.

Editorial: Neolithic Revolution

The Neolithic Revolution in a way
started civilization. People used to
be nomads during the beginning of
human life until about 10,000 BCE.
They were always moving around
hunting and gathering for food and
supplies. Farming was found to be
way more convenient. People were
able to produce more supplies of
food with less people with farming
than someone with lots of people
who was hunting. People were also
able to make profit with the extra

supplies of food, which basically set
their lives. People would eventually
all settle down to farm. Communities
were made from trading and
inventing new items, which led to a
civilization of people. If people were
still nomads and didnt farm, we most
likely wouldnt have any civilizations
which would have changed how we
were raised and everything around
us.
