TEXANS FOR SENATOR JOHN CORNYN MEMO
TO: Interested Parties FROM: Brendan Steinhauser, Campaign Manager DATE: May 27 th 2014 RE: David Alameel and 2014 U.S. Senate Race ____________________________________________________________________________________________ __ With less than six months until Election Day, Sen. Cornyn continues to be in a commanding position in the 2014 U.S. Senate race in Texas. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Sen. Cornyn and his Keep It Red project, the campaign has assembled an army of volunteers and grassroots supporters who have been walking blocks, making calls, and stuffing envelopes across the state. Between now and November Sen. Cornyn will cede no voter or region as he asks all Texans for their support and makes the case that conservative principles are the surest path to the American Dream for all who seek it. In contrast, in David Alameel Texans will find someone who as a businessman has a troubling history of hostility towards women and as a candidate has taken liberal positions far outside of the mainstream, aligning himself with Wendy Davis to secure the nomination. And no matter how many big checks David Alameel writes to his own campaign, this seat belongs to the people of Texas and this election will not be bought. Sen. Cornyn, our campaign, and our volunteers across the state will stand alongside Attorney General Greg Abbott and fight back against the big-spending, pro-choice, gun-grabbing agenda of Wendy Davis and David Alameel.
