Venus's Holy Grail Stone

The wise alchemists of ancient Greece, Egypt, India, and Mesoamerica venerated V
enus as the Star of Alchemy. Her stones, including emerald and especially meteor
ite, were the original Stones of Heaven and the incipient Philosophers Stones. H
er rulership over these stones encompassed their color and crystalline matrices,
but most importantly She was the alchemical power within the stones. Thus, Venu
s was not only the patroness of alchemy, She was alchemy. She was the fiery powe
r that induced alchemy and brought it to fruition. It was She that transformed a
base metal into gold, and it was She as the evolutionary force that made a pers
on immortal. In reference to Her fiery, transformational nature, Venus was portr
ayed by Her Egyptian priests and priestesses as a Phoenix, the mythical firebird
that arises reborn and transfigured from its own ashes.
In classical times, the Venusian-ruled iron core meteorites were considered the
most alchemically active of stones. They were so active that alchemists consider
ed them stones with a soul. They were often used in many of the most ancient Medit
erranean mystery schools for initiation purposes because of their ability to pre
cipitate the awakening of the inner alchemical forces within a spiritual seeker,
eventually leading him or her to immortality. Simply by placing them upon the b
ack of a candidate for initiation they were known to stimulate an electromagneti
c current strong enough to awaken the alchemical force in the body, the Kundalin
i, and move it from its home at the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
On Crete, these initiatory meteorites were known as Thunderstones and used for ind
uctions into the Thunders of Nocturnal Zeus. When the Greek sage Pythagoras had
a thunderstone placed upon his back during his initiation by the Dactyloi priest
s of Crete, he lay as if dead for an entire night with his face buried in the eart
h. The Thunderstone initiation of Crete caused another initiate, the famous sage
Epimenides, to drift into a profound dream-sleep that lasted just a few minutes
of Earth time but was experienced by him as lasting for 57 years. Iron-nickel m
eteorites were also used in many other parts of the world for initiation and spi
ritual purposes because of the profound effect they have upon the human electrom
agnetic field. Andean priests and shamans, for example, have been using meteorit
es in their work for virtually thousands of years. These shamans hold a male and fe
male meteorite in their right and left hands to unite the inner polarity and stim
ulate an electromagnetic impulse strong enough to move any energy blockages impe
ding health and spiritual progress.
In order to explicitly identify their sacred meteorites as manifestations of the
Goddess Venus, the early venerators of the Patroness of Alchemy carved them int
o the form of a cone or pyramid, the geometrical form that generates the Venusia
n Fire of Alchemy, and sometimes they even molded them into the shape a human fe
male. A cone or pyramid (pyr-a-mid, fire in the middle) shaped meteorite was ven
erated as the Goddess Venus in Her main temple in Paphos on Cyprus, and a huge c
one shaped meteorite was also worshiped as Venus in Her form of the Phoenix in H
eliopolis, Egypt. In Ephesus, where she was worshipped as Artemis/Diana, Venus m
anifested as a huge meteorite carved into the shape of a beautiful woman, thus d
enoting Her role as the Queen of the Heavens and the Universal Goddess.
