JANA-CHETANA SABHA RALLY OF NaMo IN KOLKATA

On February 5, 2014 Legal and Legislative Cell, BJP, W.B. attended the NaMo Rally at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.
We were lucky to hear our Priministrial Candidate, Narendra Damodardas Modi. It was a huge rally and if I am not wrong then
probably it was the biggest rally B.J.P, WB ever organized in last few decades. We were lucky to hear The man who would
appease none but care for all. Despite several protest, fear, threat etc. our supporters came to see the HOPE OF THE
NATION. Senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Shahnawaz Hussain, Shakeel Ansari, Varun Gandhi and Tapan Sikdar,
Satyabrata Mukherjee etc. were also present on the stage. More than 3 lakhs people were there to see the THE TIGER OF
GUJRAT AND WOULD BE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA.
Here are the highlights of Modi's first speech in Kolkata:
If we have to see India rise, we have to make Bengal rise first. India can regain its position of Viswaguru (world
leader) if only Bengal regains its past glory as the Rashtraguru (leader of the State).

All political panditsnwill be proved wrong. They study on the basis of historical records. But they cannot understand
the mood of the people. It has been 60 years, it is too much, we cannot wait anymore. There have been too many
promises, we have been waiting for these promises for 60 years. Now the nation will not wait anymore.

The nation wants only development, the poor want food, the elderly want health care, the youth want employment,
the women want safety, the villages want electricity, the children want education. After 60 years do we not have the
right to ask any of these? Which is why you called for change, parivartan. But have you had parivartan? Bengal is
not going to the polls anytime soon. You voted for parivartan. But you can do one thing. see, I always feel that
Bengal has always pointed the direction in which the country goes. In this election can Bengal show the direction in
which the country goes. You will not have state elections, but in the Lok Sabha elections please let BJP win all
Bengal seats. Your government has promised you certain things, ask them for accountability, but give me all the
Lok Sabha seats and then ask me for what I have done. Lets make a deal. Let the Mamata Bengal government
work for the betterment of Bengal and let the BJP work for the betterment of the nation, and this is the only way you
will have laddoos in both your hands. if you vote someone else to power how will you then know what we are
capable of? In 1980 Bengal used to grow at 10 per cent. Now, it crawls at barely 3 to 4 per cent. Can someone tell
me what have those people who sang songs for the labourers and farmers, what did they do for those farmers and
labourers? Today a management, IT graduate, engineer is well respected but those working in industrial
manufacturing are considered nothing. I want to give them respect.
I am surprised. Do you have electricity? Do you have 24 hour electricity? No. Why? Coal mines, water resources
are all next to you why then do you not have all these resources. Tell me, if Gujarat can get 24 hour electricity why
not Bengal. And the reason is that you have factories and power plants, but because of the Centre and their coal
scams and missing files, Bengal's power plants are lying idle.
If we have to take India forward we need to remove all these Third Front pretensions.
Third Front wants to make India Third Rate.
Every time there are elections, all these parties start talking about the poor and secularism. All these so called
secular parties have reduced our minorities, the Muslims to just a vote bank.
-In Gujarat, there are 4,500 Haj reservations and the applicants we get are 37,00. Bengal has 11,600 reservations
against 12,000 applications.
My definition of secularism is simple. Government's only religion is nation first , Govt's religious book is the
Constitution, government has only one devotion that is the nation, government has only one power, - the mandate
of 100 crore people.
On 5
th
February,2014 we all were lucky to see the saffron wave in the Blue Bengal of Ms. Mamata Banerjee. NaMo gave us
power to believe that we can make a difference in West Bengal. Its the high time to throw the congress out from the
parliament for SURAJ and a corruption free India. And if we want we can achieve a good position in West Bengal also.

'BE YOU EVER SO HIGH, LAW IS ABOVE YOU'
Anubrata Mondal, the Birbhum district leader of Trinamool Congress (TMC) has a charmed life. Son of a murdered TC leader
in Birbhum's Khairasol accused Anubrata as the main conspirator in killing his father Ashok Ghosh. According to Biswajit
Ghosh, the killing of his father was arranged by Anubrata and another district leader Ashok Banerjee.
"My father had told me about it 15 days back, saying that Anubrata and Ashok had arranged for some hired killers to eliminate
him," said Biswajit. His father was killed by unknown assailants when he was shot at from close range at Khairasol, two days
back. Yesterday, when senior party leader and state industry minister Partha Chatterjee went to Birbhum to express
condolence to the deceased family and take part in the cremation, Anubrata accompanied him.
The duo was gheraoed and some two hundred TC supporters angrily demonstrated before them. As many of them directed
their ire against Anubrata, he had to beat a hasty retreat. Earlier, Anubrata tried to put blame on the shoulders of CPI (M),
saying that the murder was done by their hired goons. But, the opposing faction to whom the slain TMC leader belonged did
not buy that. Yesterday they ransacked two party offices of TMC and put fire to that. Today, Biswajit Ghosh made a FIR at the
Khairasol P.S. against the murder of his father. Though he mentioned Ashok Banerjee's name in that, the name of Anubrata
was missing.

A Writ application was filed and Calcutta High Court pulled up CID for poor investigations into the killing of one Sagar Ghosh
in Birbhum last year, and directed the investigating officer to be present in court Monday with the investigation report. Justice
Dipankar Dutta said he was surprised at the agencys inaction in the murder case in which Birbhum Trinamool Congress
leader Anubrata Mondal was also named in the FIR. During the arguments in court, it was revealed that the CID had failed to
record statements of two eyewitnesses, and that there was no progress in the investigation in the last one month. On
December 24,2013 the Calcutta High Court had handed over the Sagar Ghosh killing case to the CID. Justice Dutta also
directed Birbhum SP to provide adequate protection to Ghosh family as there was a life threat to them. Hridya Ghosh, son of
Sagar Ghosh, had contested and won panchayat poll last year from Kasba Gram Panchayat as an independent candidate.
On July 21,2023 a day before the poll some miscreants, allegedly associated with the TMC, attacked the Ghosh family and
opened fired at Sagar Ghosh.

The name of Anubrata Mondal appears in news in every second day for his notorious remarks. Still a few days back West
Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stood by the controversial Trinamul Congress leader Anubrata Mondal and openly gave him a
clean chit. Our Honble CM practically put pressure on SIT and after such remark SIT will not be able to do a proper
investigation and ultimately Anubrata Mondal might get a clean Chit due to lack of evidence. The CM's public backing of
Anubrata is an attempt to influence the investigating agency. Even as the court appointed Special Investigating Team (SIT)
reached Suri to collect case documents, Mamata said in Durgapur: "Kesto (Anubrata) is an efficient organizer, and our party
recognizes good and efficient organizers." The CM didn't stop at this. She announced publicly that Trinamool will defend him
to the hilt. "Some people are after him, but we will defend him to the end,"
These sort of comments are not expected from a CM who is practically backing a criminal at the cost of the public. If the acts
which were done by Anubrata Mondal then by this time he would face atleast one year in Jail but as because the name of the
accused is Anubrata Mondal, he is roaming free. Whether the law is equal for all or there are some special statues for TMC
leaders? Is it the change the people of state desired for?
