Moshe: In his book “Remarks on the foundations of Mathematics”

Wittgenstein wrote that Arithmetic can be changed if the physical reality
becomes denser. Alain Connes speaks about the need of a new
mathematical understanding which is based on Geometry. Michael
Atiyah speaks about a new Newton that will find the gateways between
"pure" Mathematics and Physics. In your new article, called Eventors,
(http://www.scribd.com/doc/22758165/Eventors ) you use a new entity,
called Organic Number or ON, in order to re-examine Einstein’s Special
and General relativity theories.

Doron: In Eventors I re-examine the Gravity and Rest mass concepts,

which appear in my model as two complementary properties.

Moshe: As much as I know, one of the motivations behind Einstein’s

General relativity theory was to distinguish between gravity and rest mass
by using space/time fabric itself. Could you please give us a short
explanation of your complementary approach?

Doron: The principle that stands at the basis of any complementary

relation can be defined as a transition from A state to B state, where C
value remains unchanged during the transition. In the case of ON, A is
the highest symmetrical state, B is the lowest symmetrical state, and C is
the unchanged quantitative property which is kept during A→B , B→A
transitions. If A is gravity and B is rest mass, then A is a “vercital” elastic
property which is curved against the universe’s expansion process. It is as
if Gravity has the tendency to move backwards along the “vertical” time-
line, which connects between the present expended universe and the past
dense universe. The Rest mass (B) can be described as an elastoplastic
property, which is “perpendicular” to the time-line, and it has the
property to save its energetic level. C value is not changed during A→B ,
B→A transitions, but light, which has no rest mass, is used here as the
best history “writer” of the dynamic relations between A and B along the
time-line. Each entity that has a rest mass also has a past light-cone that
“carries” its history along its time-line, where the time-line is the center
vector of the light-cone. Intelligent life forms have the ability to be aware
of their past light-cones, and they can identify penetrating past light-
cones of other entities.

Moshe: Einstein used Riemann’s non-Euclidean geometry in order to
define space/time fabric, but his mathematics is still based on Euclidian
principles. In Eevntors I see that you develop a new framework, which is
not based on Euclidian principles. One of the fundamental products of
this framework is ON, and if I understand it correctly, it is used to
describe space/time as a complementary phenomenon, where the observer
and the observed have a mutual influence at any researched level.

Doron: I call this framework Monadic Mathematics because it is

influenced by Leibniz’s philosophical work called Monadology. My
framework researches the Symmetry over different levels of
Information’s clarity degrees, upon finite/non-finite different scales.

Moshe: I think that this approach opens some gateways to complexity.

Do you think that the gateways between “pure” Mathematics and Physics
can be connected by biological non-trivial complexity, which is
considered as intelligent life form?

Doron: In my opinion, intelligent life exists when it has the ability to be

aware of its origin, and to use this knowledge in order to be developed.

This diagram shows the awareness of a life form of the origin of its past
light-cone, which I call the space-body. The yellow part of the curve is
the domain where the cybernetic level (the power of awareness) is
developed, by increasing the connection between the space-body and the
time-line, which is also called the time-body. By looking at this diagram
we can see that most of life’s progression exists along the purple part of
the curve, where life phenomenon is unaware to itself, exactly as a fish is
not aware of the existence of the water around it. By this analogy, this
fish becomes an intelligent fish only if it can get out of the water and then
it is aware of the existence of the water. By this diagram we can also
understand that the existence of the water does not depend on the fish’s
awareness, but when it is aware of it, it has the ability to manipulate it.
We must not forget that intelligent life is not a specific event along the
time-body but a continuous process that can collapse into non-intelligent
states of mind. Therefore an intelligent life-form has to do its best in
order to protect itself, especially when increased powers of nature can be
manipulated by it.

The language of Mathematics is a very powerful tool that allows us to

develop a new kind of language that can help us find the gateways
between our logical/technological skills and our ethical skills, where the
meaning of ethical skills is deeply connected to the development of a new
kind of logic, which reinforces the non-trivial existence of its
creator/discoverer/user.

In order to understand better the meaning of non-trivial existence, let us

examine pyramid A and pyramid V. Pyramid A stands on one of its
surfaces, and in this case we have a trivial balance problem. Pyramid V
stands on one of its angular points, and in this case we have a non-trivial
balance problem. The skills of a self aware non-trivial complex system
can be measured by its ability to use any balance degree that can be found
between A and V polar states, in such ways that at least do not reduce the
non-trivial complexity of itself and its environment, in the long range.

One of the ways to achieve this goal is to develop a language that can be
used as a reliable mirror of its creator/discoverer/speaker/user.
