What compelled you to apply for the Suncorp graduate program?

Ive always liked computers ever since the age of 14 where Ive received my first computer.
Therefore I am completely crazy about computers and honestly who better to work for than
the company that created the very first personal computer in history. I feel that as a young
talented individual, I can utilize my skills that I have gained at university and put it into
practice in the real world and hopefully make a difference on the world with better
technology, I strongly believe that the uncorp graduate program can help me achieve these
goals which is ultimately why I!ve applied to such a prestigious graduate program such as
uncorps.
Tell me about a time in which you have worked in a team environment to successfully
achieve a common goal? What skills did you contribute? What were you trying to
achieve? What role did you play?
In my "rd year university pro#ect I was group leader responsible for designing a customised
c$oy amplifier where the ultimate goal was to deliver the product attractively to investors
and assessors. The common goal my team was trying to achieve is to present the product
where it aims to deliver ma%imum performance at a minimal cost. kills Ive contributed
were my fresh ideas and vision about the product along with strong team leadership skills.
In my role I was responsible for looking after the entire team, making sure everyone had no
issues with their particular section of the pro#ect and made sure team meetings were
conducted regularly to keep track of my teammate!s progress. &ltimately I wanted to
achieve a successful delivery of the product where it would capture the investor!s interest,
along with of course producing a high grade for the pro#ect from the assessors.
Describe a situation in which you used your analytical and/or logical reasoning skills
to solve a problem or an issue?*
'irst of all whenever I detect a problem, I tend to follow a specific pattern where I generally
start writing down as many ideas as I can think of about possible causes. (fter that I would
look for relationships among causes so I can group together symptoms of bigger problems.
&sually, after I study these groups of problems, the real cause then becomes really
apparent.
( particular situation would involve my computer security pro#ect, where we have overlooked
a serious security flaw in our system, where the problem had lied within our logic within the
cryptography section of our system. I!ve used the method e%plained above to address this
issue and shared my findings with my teammates. (lso they would have solutions
themselves, thus a meeting had to be conducted to ultimately decide on the best possible
solution to address this issue. In the end we have agreed upon my teammate!s solution
along with little findings from my section to logically produce the best outcome.
