THERE IS A CHILDREN’S SONG THAT GOES LIKE THIS: “This is THIS COMING SUNDAY, November 22nd , we will be partaking

the song that never ends. It goes on and on, my friends.” Well, that’s sort
of how I feel every week when I get ready to type this section of the
bulletin. I feel like I keep saying the same things over and over again, but
God just keeps doing His thing…..over and over again! !
SUNDAY WAS A WONDERFUL DAY! The Lord was in the House and
He is moving. Two people recommitted their lives to the Lord and both
were in service on Sunday night! THAT IS A GOOD SIGN! We are also
thankful for all the people that came forward and believed God for their
“turn around.” Don’t forget, “turn arounds” most of the time are not
instant. When Job said the Amen to his prayer for his friends, he was still
broke, still covered with boils, and still grieving for his children. Yet at
the time of his Amen, God was already working on the “turn around.”
Somewhere there was a dust storm in the desert where the flocks and
herds were coming to be the double portion God wanted Job to have.
Don’t you dare give up hope and don’t you dare lose patience. I’m
trusting and believing God with you that your “turn around” is even now
at the door!
ALSO, ON SUNDAY MORNING, we brought our gifts….tithes and
offerings…to the altar and gave them to the Lord. We received a
“Harvest Offering” for the specific purpose of helping to secure new
media equipment to help us get into the harvest field and do the work God
has called us to do. I can hardly contain myself as I tell you that we gave
$ 6, 104.74 ! PRAISE GOD! I am blown away by the faithfulness of
God. I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again, TOGETHER we can do
anything. I was blown away by the “Vision Offering” we had at FallFest,
but this is SHOUTING GROUND! your faithfulness to give is moving
us closer to seeing the fulfillment of visions the Lord has given and Words
the Lord has spoken. God gives the direction, but He expects us to be the
hands and feet. We are on the move ! ! !
THIS COMING SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21st there has been a call for
prayer and fasting. Brother and Sister Hayes have felt led by the Lord to
set aside this 8 hour period for concentrated prayer and fasting. The
sanctuary will be open from 10 AM until 6 PM that day, and someone will
be in the building the whole time. We believe that God is ready to do
something and some things only come about by “prayer and fasting.”
We are asking everyone who will to come by the church sometime
between those hours and spend some time in prayer. We are also asking
you to fast. Whether you fast the whole day, one meal, or something that
you would normally do, sacrifice something and in its place, give time to
the Lord. TOGETHER, we can made a difference.

Tuesday, due to Thanksgiving. We will be having a special Fowler and the Youth Board for their graciousness in
“Thanksgiving and Praise” Service in the sanctuary. Service time is 7:00
accommodating the members of this elite group.
P.M. There will be multiple modes of thanksgiving and praise during the
service. Please make your plans for yourself, your family, and your
friends to be a part of this service. In the words of President George
