The Feature of Huawei MA5600

With the growing requirements for telecom services, the access network (AN) must
provide integrated services with large capacity, high rate, and high quality (including data,
video, voice, and multimedia). To meet these requirements, uawei has launched the
!martA" #A$%&& #ulti'service Access #odule.
The MA5600 has the following orientations:
As an () digital su*scri*er line access multiple+er (,!-A#), it supports non'*locking
giga*it .thernet (/.) switching fa*ric to suit the high rate requirements of the *road*and
telecom network.
As a multi'service access module, it provides integrated service access to address the
diversified service requirements of telecom su*scri*ers.
As a ne+t generation network (N/N) solution, it provides ensured quality of service (0o!)
to *e ready for evolving to the ne+t generation network.

Triple play solution
Triple play su*scri*ers, including )))o. su*scri*ers, 7o() su*scri*ers, and
video su*scri*ers, are connected to the #A$%&& through the home gateway. After
processing the service packets from these su*scri*ers, the #A$%&& transmits the
packets to the upper layer device.
1or terminals using the asynchronous transfer mode (AT#), such as an A,!-45
terminal, the #A$%&& supports single:permanent virtual connection (single')73)
and multi')73 to implement the triple play networking configuration. 1or
terminals using the packet transfer mode ()T#), such as a 7,!-4 terminal, the
#A$%&& also supports 7-AN *ased triple play networking configuration.
Private line inter)onne)tion solution
The #A$%&& provides private line interconnection services for enterprise
su*scri*ers. .nterprise su*scri*ers are connected to the #A$%&& in the
3
A,!-459!,!-97,!-4 mode. The private line interconnection can provide the
transparent transmission of the private 7-AN and services to the peer end.
