INTRODUCTION - I have chosen the topic called MA MAISON.

It is for seventh standard school


students as per C.B.S.E curriculum.
The duration of for this lesson is approximately 40 -50 minutes.

OBJECTIVE - The basic objective of this lesson is to make the students understand about their
surroundings and inculcate the knowledge of the things around them at their home and how they
can actually express it, taking care of feminine and masculine differences in the language.
This is an important lesson for the students as it is related to our everyday life and usage is more
important in day to day life scenario.

Expected result At the end of this lesson, the students shall be able to grasp the vocabulary, so
that they can use them in their daily life. A 2 minutes role play can play an important role in
understanding of the lesson in pairs of four.
The given lexical resource will help them retaining the new words.
Once complete, the class will be able to identify the rooms of a house using the French
language through oral and written exercises.

ASSESSMENT NUMBER 1.
In this assessment, they have to label the diagram in French language, after they have completed the
lesson. This assessment is of 15 minutes.
In this students have to label every furniture piece shown in the diagram and so on they can give one
line description of the room as well.

Creativity and group works can go a long way in aiding with learning vocabulary. They will
enjoy collating their magazine pictures in scrapbooks, while others will test each other with
flash cards showing the rooms and English words on one side, and give the French
equivalent for points.
