BITS has been in operation since 1990 and offers tailor made GB and Ireland
programmes. I n 2005 BITS sent 1000 clients to Ireland. BITS is the only operator in
Berlin programming Ireland.

Gabriele Kister
Journalist, author and scriptwriter for various successful novels, e.g. Rosamunde Pilcher
and Barbara Wood. She also wrote the script for Robin Pilcher's "An Oczcn Apart" which
was filmed in Kerry in 2005. The film was aired in Germany in January 2006 and had a
viewer-ship of 7.8 million. A second Pilcher tele-drama will be filmed and produced in
Mayo this summer.

Regine Reinhardt
Freelance journalist, specialising in culture and art. She is also an art historian. She
studied for one year at Trinity College and gave lectures at the National Gallery. Her
articles appear regularly in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and other major
newspapers. She recently wrote an article on art, galleries and museums in Dublin and this
was featured in the FAZ. She also worked for the Irish Trade Board in Berlin.
