Turn out vocationally, technically, technologically, and scientifically trained graduates
who will be economically productive, self-sufficient, effective, responsible and disciplined
citizens of the Philippines.

Provide professional, scientific, technological, technical, and vocation and training in
trades, business, arts, sciences, and technology and for special purposes, promote research,
advanced studies and progressive leadership.

Strive for academic excellence in instruction, research, extension and production through

Provide appropriate and continuing faculty and staff development programs
Provide and maintain appropriate technologies, instructional facilities, materials and

CED VGMO

VISION: The College of Education is envisioned as center of excellence in teacher training and
advanced education in science, technology and research.

MISSION: The College shall developing and preparing prospective teachers in their areas of
specialization and the professional advancement of educators, educational leaders and other
educational personnel.

GOALS: Prepare future teachers to teach the sciences, mathematics, technological and
entrepreneurial specialization in the elementary and special education, secondary and tertiary
levels.

Prepare individuals to contribute to social, moral and economic development and wise
conversation of natural resources through vocational, scientific, and technological education.

OBJECTIVES: Develop skills that will enable the graduate to guide the young in strengthening
good moral character and cultivate the potentials for self-fulfillment and productivity.

Train teachers who shall interpret, transmit, enrich and conserve Philippine culture and
promote the economy.

Provide sufficient skills for students to become leaders in the field of education and enable then
to experience the frontiers of knowledge through research.

KADIPAN
Bisyon:
Ang kadipan bilang isang organisasyong pang mag-aral ay may pananaw na nakatuon sa
paghubog ng mga kakayahan at talento ng mga kasapi upang taglayin ang kahusayan sa sining
na may kaugnayan sa wika, panitikan at pananaliksik, gamit ang wika ng bayan, at maging
magaling na lider na taglay ang mapagkandiling pamumuno sa paglilingkod sa akademya, kapwa
mag-aaral at para sa lipunang pilipino sa hinaharap.

Misyon:
Alinsunod sa bisyon ng Earist katawang ang departamento ng filipino sa kolehiyo ng
edukasyon ay puspusang makikipag- ugnayan ang kadipan sa iba't ibang yunit ng Earist at iba
pang samahan sa labas ng pamantasan upang mapagkaloob sa bawat kasapi ang mga
kalinangang hinangad galing sa kagalingan, disiplina at mabuting panlasa na lundo ng
pagpapahalaga ng lungsod ng maynila.
Layuni/Hangarin
Malinang ang mga angking galing ng bawat kasapi sa larangan ng sining-partikular sa wika
at panitikan.
Makatulong sa earist sa pamamagitan ng departamento ng filipino sa kolehiyo ng
edukasyon sa pagtataguyod ng wikang pambansa panitikan at kalinangang bayani.
Maging katuwang sa akademya sa mga sikhayan scholary works sa pagpapataas ng antas
ng edukasyon ng filipino at makataguyod ng mga palihan at salamayaang pang mag-aaral na
may kaugnayan sa wika,panitikan, at kalinangang bayan.
