`Whose soever sins ye remit....'
Many mistakes have aready resuted !rom the "rong
inter#retation o! My Word and "ere s#read$ and it is di!!i%ut to
remove su%h mistakes and re#a%e them "ith the #ure truth
&e%ause #eo#e rather a%%e#t an error and s#read it as truth than
ao" themseves to &e edu%ated and a%%e#t the #ure truth. 'nd
this %oud a"ays ha##en "hen My Word "as inter#reted iteray$
&e%ause the spiritual meaning o! the Word "as never
understood.
(hat #eo#e are &urdened &y sins is the resut o! their !ormer
a#ostasy !rom Me.... the resut o! the origina sin "hi%h engu!ed
the on%e !uy a"are and %om#etey enightened &eings in
darkness.
)en%e #eo#e are sti su&*e%t to this sin i! they are not
deivered !rom it &y +esus ,hrist. 'nd !or the sake o! these
"ret%hed #eo#e - des%ended to earth Myse! and as the man
+esus made the sa%ri!i%e on the %ross !or the redem#tion o! this
immense guit.
However, since people are at liberty to regard Jesus as
the divine Redeemer, in Whom I Myself became a human
being$ they aso have to &e introdu%ed to the kno"edge o! )im$
to the reason "hy they are human &eings and to the a%t o!
.avation. For this #ur#ose - sent My dis%i#es into the "ord$
"hom - Myse! had instru%ted #rior to this and "ho there!ore
%oud aso #ro%aim the Gos#e as My re#resentatives to a the
nations.
-t is no" very easy to understand that #eo#e "ho a%%e#ted
the &essings o! the a%t o! .avation "ere !reed !rom their
immense guit o! sin.... that their sins "ere taken !rom them
when they confessed their sinfulness and turned to the
cross, to the divine Redeemer, for refuge.
.o My dis%i#es &ore "itness o! Me and My a%t o! .avation to
#eo#e and anyone a%%e#ting their tea%hing "as aso assured &y
them that their sins "ere !orgiven$ &e%ause - had given them the
task to e/#ain to #eo#e why they "ere "ret%hed and &urdened.
)en%e they %oud aso assure them on My &eha! that they "oud
&e i&erated !rom a guit if they acknowledged Me and asked
Me for forgiveness.
For they "ent into the "ord to #rea%h the Word o! the %ross
on My &eha!$ thus they %oud aso !orgive #eo#e's sins on My
&eha!....
's ong as they &rought the Gos#e to #eo#e as My
representatives they were enlightened by My spirit and
recognised peoples sinful state. !hey also recognised the
peoples willingness to repent which gave them the right
to absolve them from all guilt on My behalf.... (hey ony did
"hat - "oud have done Myse! "hen - ived on earth.
(hus the Word `Whose soever sins ye remit$ they are
remitted to them....' "as *usti!ied and aso has to &e understood
in this %onte/t....
But the 0uestion is1 who is a%ting as My true re#resentative
on earth2.... sin%e it de#ends on this aone "hether it is #ossi&e
!or a #erson to !orgive sins$ i.e. "hether it is san%tioned &y My
"i....
Be%ause not everyone "ho calls himse! My re#resentative is
enlightened by My spirit and is a&e to re%ognise the #erson's
state o! sou "hose `sins' he "ants to `!orgive'.
3ot everyone "ho %as himse! My re#resentative %an #rea%h
My Gos#e to his !eo" human &eings. Ony #eo#e enightened
&y My s#irit kno" o! +esus' a%t o! .avation$ o! its s#iritua reason
and the immense origina sin.
)en%e the `"orking o! My s#irit' must de!initey &e #ossi&e$
but it is not noticeable in those who all profess to be My
servants, My representatives on earth....
"onse#uently they are neither entitled nor able to
$udge their fellow human beings state of soul and to remit
their sins.
'nd i! they do it$ the #erson is nevertheess not deivered
!rom his immense guit uness he himse! takes the #ath to +esus
,hrist and asks )im dire%ty !or !orgiveness o! his guit.... For this
reason #eo#e shoud not rey on assuran%es &y those who
themselves are incapable to forgive sins &e%ause I have not
assigned them to this o!!i%e.
)en%e a misguided tea%hing ike this %an have a very
damaging e!!e%t on sous "hi%h &eieve to have &een deivered
!rom their sins through s#e%i!i% %ustoms and then !ai to hand
themseves over to +esus ,hrist sin%erey a##eaing to )im !or
!orgiveness o! their guit....
For the redem#tion o! the origina sin %an ony &e given to
#eo#e &y +esus ,hrist$ and this re0uires kno"edge "hi%h$ in
turn$ %an ony &e gained through the #ure truth....
%ut as long as people, who themselves were not
appointed by Me, feel entitled to remit sins it will merely
result in a half&hearted attitude, since the human being
then believes to have been relieved from his responsibility
as soon as his fellow human being assures him the
forgiveness of his sins.... even with reference to the fact
that I Myself gave this promise....
- s#oke these Words to My dis%i#es `Whose soever sins ye
remit$ they are remitted to them....' 'nd these Words "i a"ays
&e *usti!ied with those whom I Myself choose as My true
disciples....
%ut the same Words can never be applied to those who
declared themselves, or who were declared by their fellow
human beings, as My successors....
Ony - kno" "ho serves Me in the right "ay and "ho has the
ne%essary 0uai!i%ations !or it.... 'nd thus on%e again - %hoose My
true re#resentatives on earth "ho sha #ro%aim My Gos#e in a
truth!uness and aso %eary e/#ose and !ight against error.... For
ony truth %an &e the right ight !or #eo#e &y "hi%h they !ind the
#ath o! as%ent$ home to Me into their Father's house....
