Scientists estimate that the tropical rainforest alone holds more plant types then all the other biomes combined. Geographer: The tropical rainforest has many different landmarks like caves, waterfalls, and rivers. It has three layers, the ground story, the understory and the canopy Zoologist: life inside the rainforest is filled with danger. An animal must be smart and strong to survive in this type of environment. The intense competition for survival makes rainforests species very interesting. Meteorologist: Over 505 of the tropical rainforest precipitation is made from its own evaporation. Rains nearly every day, but because of the thick canopy, most precipitations never reach the ground.

WILD LIFE ANIMALS The tropical rainforest hold a variety of animal life. Animals such as cougars, pumas, snakes and exotic birds inhabit these lands. Many of the species located in the rainforest are endangered, but diverse. For example the Slow Loris spends all day sleeping in the trees and at night it feeds on insects, bird eggs, small birds and fruit seldom. Animals are adapted to this life and are really great climbers. For example chimpanzees are excellent climbers but they spend most of their time on the forest floor. When visiting you could see; tigers, elephants, sloths, eagles, doves, king cobras, monkeys, bats, chimps, frogs, etc
PLANTS When visiting you could see; hardwood and medical plants, orchids, bromeliads, vines, ferns, mosses palms, etc Some plants grow in the ground but most grow off the branches of the tress
