educational life? And explain how? Yes, I think that parents play
an active role in the child's educational life by helping them to do their
homework and solve the problems they face in school and help them to
overcome difficulties.
2- In present time, do you think parents and teachers
relationship is stronger than past or the opposite? The
relationship between the teacher and the parents now is stronger than it was
in the past years.
3- Do you think that the schools strive to build good
relationship between parents and teachers? And explain
how? Not so much, because the school holds only two meetings during the
school year and must set up more meetings and workshops and activities
involving parents.
4- What are your suggestions to attract parents and
improve the relationship between parent and teachers?
Set up more meetings and workshops and activities involving parents and
must choose times that fit working parents.
5- Do you think there is a good relationship between your
child and teacher? And how do you know that? Yes I think
there is a good relationship between the teacher and my child, my child tells
me so, and I noticed that he likes the school more and he became more
active in solving his homework.
6- Do you think that you should know the teacher abilities,
experience and his or her background education? Of
course, because that affects the level of my child's education.
7- Do you think schools should use a social communication
account such as Twitter, website, email, phone number?
Yes, because it facilitates the process of communication between the parents
and the teacher.
8- What are ways for teachers to inform the parents, if his
or her child misbehaves? Call and setup a meeting.
9- How can schools help literate parents to interact about
students activities in classroom? Spread awareness about the
importance of attending meetings and participating in school activities.
10- Do you think schools should do changes in their
new system give us some suggestion? Improve the curriculum
and reduce the hours of study.
11- What do you think about the new system in all
schools? Is it useful? Has pros and also has cons.
12- Do you think the majority of parents have a lack of
awareness about the importance of attending schools
meetings? No, but they have become so much busy because of work and
concerns of life and this is probably what prevents them from attending
meetings.
13- As parent, is communication with teachers a
problem for you? Considering some teachers speak only
English. No because I can speak English, but not all parents can and there
must be someone who can translate.
14- Do you attend the meetings in school? Yes.
15- How dose attending meetings affect your childs
performance in school? Has a positive effect on the level of
education and the child feels that someone cares about him and is watching
him which makes him work harder.
16- Dose the social status in the house affect the
childs performance in school? Of course, because if there are
problems at home that will affect negatively on the child's level.
17- What is you preferred way of notifying you about
the time of meetings? SMS.
18- How can you help your child to improve his
performance in school? Help him in solving his homework and help
him solve problems and overcome difficulties.
