LM-1022
Overview
This Extended Solution to the Library Master module allows the user to associate a PDF
source document with each PDF register. The PDF source document can be viewed and may
be deleted in the PDF register’s viewer.
Sage Software Extended Solution LM-1018: Paperless Office: Journals and Registers
must be installed and enabled for this Extended Solution to function.
Installation
Before installing this Extended Solution, please verify that the version level(s) printed on the
CD label are the same as the version level(s) of the MAS 90 MAS 200 module(s) you are
using. For further information, please see the Upgrades and Compatibility section below.
Check your Shipping Manifest for a complete list of Extended Solutions shipped.

Setup
Once the disk is installed, you will need to access the Library Master options screen. After
the option screens have been displayed, a Setup screen for this Extended Solution will
appear. Check the ‘Enable Extended Solution’ box to activate this Extended Solution (Figure
1). The manual for this Extended Solution, if it has been installed, can be viewed by clicking
the ‘Manual’ button next to the ‘Enable Extended Solution’ check box. It can also be viewed
via the Extended Solutions Control Center (see Installation, above).

DELETE ASSOCIATED SOURCE DOCUMENT IN PDF VIEWER: Specify whether associated source
documents will be deleted when the related registers are deleted. You may select ‘Yes,’ ‘No,’
or ‘Prompt’ (to be prompted to delete).
You should visit this Setup screen after each upgrade or reinstallation of this Extended
Solution.
LM-1018 Setup
New options have been added to the Document tab in LM-1018’s Setup (Figure 2):
SOURCE DOCUMENT: Check this box to be prompted for an associated source document
when the register is printed. In addition, you may enter a specific directory associated with
this Journal/Register’s source documents. Leave this field blank to use the default directory
specified in LM-1022’s Setup.

Operation
Register Printing
When a register is being printed, if the ‘Source Document’ option is checked for this register,
you will be prompted for the directory and filename of the source document to associate with
this register (Figure 3). This filename will be stored in the PDF register log file.

Two new columns have been added to the list box: ‘Source Exists?’ and ‘Associated Source
Document’ (Figure 4).

A ‘View Source’ button has also been added. Click this bottom to view the associated source
document.
When you delete a register, depending on setup, you may be prompted to delete the
associated source document as well.

Documentation
Only changes made to the standard operation of MAS 90 MAS 200 have been documented in
this manual. Operations not documented in this manual are standard procedures of MAS 90
MAS 200 processing. Standard MAS 90 MAS 200 processes, data entry screens, inquiry
screens, reports, updates, etc., have not been changed unless addressed in this document.
Parts of this document may refer to the Specific Purpose Rule. When referenced, the
described feature was developed for a specific client to its specifications and may not
conform to generally accepted MAS 90 MAS 200 standards and procedures. These features
may or may not benefit you in your application of MAS 90 MAS 200.
