SURROGATE CHRISTIANITY!
Being a surrogate mother is one of the
toughest decisions any woman can make.
The idea that you are strong enough to
carry a baby that does not belong to you
is soon lost as you feel the baby grow
inside of you.
A lady (from the UK) recently wrote of
her experience. She decided to be a
surrogate for her brother and his wife
who struggled to have a baby on their
own. She felt their compassion and
thought that as she had her own
children, she could quite easily carry a
child and hand the baby over after birth.
Too many Christians have settled for
surrogacy in that they have the seed of
God planted in them, but never see the
fulfilment of what it is able to produce
or do in and through their life. Surrogate
believers have all the signs of being a
follower of Christ, but the manifestation
of His anointing is never evident.
So what then is a Surrogate Christian?

2 Timothy 3:5 - having a form of
godliness but denying its power. And
from such people turn away!

We cannot just look the part at a time
that suits us or when you need to
impress others. Your faith has to be
deeper and develop to where growth is
evident.

1 Peter 2:2 - as newborn babes, desire
the pure milk of the word, that you may
grow thereby,
Surrogate Christianity is when;
1.There is no relationship with the
father of the seed.
Joshua had the seed of leadership in
him as he sat under the anointed
leadership of Moses. He saw how
Moses connected with the Father and
the evidence of that relationship was
seen. When Moses died and Joshua
stepped into the role of Leader, it
was evident through how he led who
he was connected to. God told him
to meditate on the word, and to be
strong and courageous.

To be a believer today you must be
strong and courageous in the face of
adversity. You must be a believer
that knows how to spend time in His
word.
Your relationship with the donor of
the seed in you determines how
much you develop and whether the
evidence of whats in you is seen.

Philippians 3:10 - that I may know
Him and the power of His
resurrection, and the fellowship of
His sufferings, being conformed to
His death,

A surrogate mother has no
relationship with the father or donor.
She is a loner with no visible
evidence of who the father is. She
does not careand that is often
when troubles start..
Church..you carry the seed of faith,
the Holy Spirit resides in you! When
you know the Father, you will cherish
the seed you carry and would want to
see the manifestation of His word
through your life.

2.You dont value the seed!
You love being a Christian but dont
value the power of the seed you
carry. The true potential lies
dormant and therefore many do not
see what God can do through their
lives. The impact is never seen or
felt!

Surrogate mothers dont build a
relationship with the seed because
they will give it to someone else.
They will never be involved in the
growth of the baby they carried and
will never experience the potential
of that child. It is too easy to walk
away from what they had so close to
them. Some might still have an
emotional attachment having tasted
the awesomeness of being a mother
again, but still they will give it away
because they do not value the seed.
How could they, when they dont
know the father.

Surrogate believers dont walk in the
power of the seed they carry and
therefore will never see its
fulfillment or potential.

Galatians 5:2 - Indeed I, Paul, say to
you that if you become circumcised,
Christ will profit you nothing.

You can do all the external things
that make you look like a Christian,
but it will profit you nothing!

3.It is easy to walk away from your
faith
Spiritual apostacy is very real
amongst believers.
Ezekiel 18:26 - When a
righteous man turns away from his
righteousness, commits iniquity, and
dies in it, it is because of the
iniquity which he has done that he
dies.
Luke 8:13 - But the ones on the
rock are those who, when they hear,
receive the word with joy; and these
have no root, who believe for a
while and in time of temptation fall
away.

2 Timothy 4:10 - for Demas has
forsaken me, having loved this
present world, and has departed for
ThessalonicaCrescens for Galatia,
Titus for Dalmatia.

People have what is to them valid
reasons for leaving the faith. It could
be a personal tragedy, family issues,
sin, temptation etc. The effects of
people leaving the faith is seen in
the local Churches.
The discouragement is very real
amongst those still standing. Then
we have those who want to be
connected to faith and the Church,
but think its ok to sin. Stop saying
but we are not perfect. Youve
used that excuse long enough!
The Bible says that we must strive
for perfection. That means you and I
must work hard at not falling into
adultery. You must make every effort
not to gossip and slander. Dont open
the door for the enemy in your life.
Husbands.go home and love your
wife and your children. Wives.do
likewise!
Stop holding unforgiveness and
bitterness! If you are singlestop
having pointless sex with those who
you dont value as a husband or a
wife.

How Do We Fix Surrogate Christianity?

2 Peter 3:18 - but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:24-25 - And let us consider one another in order to stir up love
and good works,
25
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as
you see the Day approaching.

2 Timothy 2:15 - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker
who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Why Do You Need To Get Rid of Surrogate Christianity?

2 Peter 2:21-22 - For it would have been better for them not to have known
the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered to them.
22
But it has happened to them according to
the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit,
[a]
and, a sow, having
washed, to her wallowing in the mire.
Romans 8:35-37 - Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword?
36
As it is written: For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[a] 37
Yet in all these things we
are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
