Learning Outcomes : Student should be able to

Describe fertilisation in human
Identify the location of implantation of embryo
Describe the development of a zygote into an embryo and subsequently into
a foetus until birth
Related the importance of taking a nutritious food to the health of both
mother and foetus during pregnancy
Explain the importance of avoiding the intake of substances that are
harmful the foetus.


Teaching aids : Video 1, video 2, video 3, activity sheet 1, activity sheet 2, pictures.
