NOTE:
As a part of revamping the existing system of attending to the VIPs during
Break Darsan of Lord Venkateswara by the officials of Reception, Vaikuntam queue
complex-I (Popularly known as Vaikuntam) as well as Srivari Temple, Tirumala, a
meeting was conducted by the Joint Executive Officer, TTD, Tirumala with the
Protocol Govt. Officials and with TTD officials concerned and it is proposed to
implement the following procedure / Guidelines.
Receipt of Applications for Break Darsan:-
All the devotees as well as the protocol officers of Judicial / Police /
Revenue Departments shall send their applications addressed to the Joint Executive
Officer, TTD Tirumala promptly by 1:30 P.M. everyday for the evening break
darshan on that day and also for the sevas, morning break, kalyanam of the following
day.
Categorization of V.I.Ps for entry through VQC-I during break darshan:-
On receipt of applications in the O/o Jt.Exe.Officer, TTD, Tirumala for
break darsan, necessary permission will be accorded after segregating the same as
those coming under Top priority VIPs/ Priority VIPs / General VIPs basing on the
ranks / designations of the dignitaries seeking Break darshan. One Responsible
officer from Reception wing shall attend

the O/o Jt.Exe.Officer, Tirumala everyday by 4:00 P.M., so as to prepare / finalize
the list of Top priority VIPs/ Priority VIPs / General VIPs
Gradation / Categorization of Top priority VIPs/ Priority VIPs / General
VIPs will be finalized at J.E.Os Camp Office and the finalized list will be
communicated to the Spl. Gr. Dy. E.O(R), Dy.E.O(T), A.E.O(VQC-I), A.E.O(Temple),
and Superintendent, Padikavali and Superintendent, Sannidhi immediately.
With regard to the applications received in Executive Officers office i.e.,
arrivals coming through E.Os Office, the categorization of VIPs for entry through
VQC-I (Vaikuntam) during break darshan will be done by the Executive Officer.
I. List of Proposed Top Priority VIPs for entry through VQC-I (Vaikuntam) Main

Collector & Additional Dist. Magistrate, Chittoor (d) Superintendent of Police,
Tirupati Urban
7. TTD Asthana Vidvansulu.
8. The Judiciary protocol officer, Tirupati conducting weekly court at Tirumala
9. Head of the police Dept., Tirumala
10. The Revenue Officer responsible for Govt. protocol.
11. Donors of Rs. 1 crore and above
12. Any other person(s) categorized by Executive Officer / Joint Executive Officer,
Tirumala on case to case basis.

In view of privileges associated and time constraints the Top Priority VIPs
cannot request for and have more than 6 persons including himself / herself.
The above Top priority VIPS / OFFICIALS may be allowed for darshan
through 17

Saturday, Sunday & Monday :- When the 1

4. All India Service Officers borne on the cadre of Andhra Pradesh
5. Rev. Divisional Officer, Tirupati, Dy. Collector (protocol), Tirupati,
Thasildar, Tirupati Urban & Recp. Dy. Thasildar., Tirupati.
6. Addl. S.P, Tirupati, Station house officers of Tirumala not below the rank
of Sub-Inspector.
7. Non-cadre Head of Departments in the state on case to case basis.
8. The Artists performing programmes in Nada Neerajanam.
9. TTD Employees when they come along with their family members (as
mentioned in their identity cards).

10. Any other person(s) categorized by the Executive Officer / Joint
Executive Officer, Tirumala on case to case basis

III. GENERAL VIPs
The General VIPs waiting at cellar in VQC-I (Vaikuntam) shall be permitted
for darshan 5 to 10 minutes after priority VIPs are allowed from 25

compartment
i.e., When priority VIPs are crossing the over bridge located in between Vaikuntam &
Temple.
SITTING ARRANGEMENTS AT V.Q.C:-
The Protocol officers / officials of Reception wing TTD, Tirumala shall make
necessary arrangements for bringing the Top priority / Priority VIPs to V.Q.C
(Vaikuntam) duly coordinating with the officials of VQC-I ( Vaikuntam) and
Padikavali, Sri T.T. The officials of V.Q.C., Tirumala shall receive the dignitaries in a
polite manner and make necessary seating arrangements separately according to the
gradation / status of the VIPs i.e., Top priority VIPs at 17

compartment in
Vaikuntam, Priority VIPs at 25
th
compartment in Vaikuntam and General VIPs
through cellar in Vaikuntam and permit them to enter into Srivari Temple as
mentioned above.

The above guidelines / procedure is being implemented w.e.f. 21-05-2011.
Hence, the matter is therefore placed before the specified authority for kind
perusal and approval.
