Gunduza has taught language, literature and

of Zimbabwe and UNISA. He holds a BA Honours Degree in English,
MA in English (both from the University of Zimbabwe), MPhil in
Workplace Business Ethics (University of Johannesburg) and a

Higher Merit Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations
(Cambridge International College, UK). He is currently doing and Other Poems
consulting work with Enhanced Skills International Research and
Training Institute in Pretoria and also reading for his doctoral studies.

Tirivacho Makwarimba is a writer and dub-poet. He unfortunately turned schizophrenic and dropped out of
university.
Willias Masocha holds a first class degree in Pharmacy from the University of Zimbabwe. Writing for him is
a passion.
Abramiah A Mponda holds a B.A. From the University of Zimbabwe. He is now teaching in the Matabeleland
province of Zimbabwe.
Patrick Panavanhu Tula Mudavanhu holds a B.A. degree in English and Linguistics. He is teaching in
Kadoma, Zimbabwe.
Isaac Choto Mthethwa holds a B.A Honours degree in English and an M.A. degree in English. He is now
lecturing at the University of Zimbabwe in the Linguistics Department.
Elliot Magunje is an aids activist based in Harare, now late.
Phineas Chinyanga graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and
Philosophy. He holds a post-graduate diploma in education and a Masters degree in Education. He is teaching
in Chivhu, a few kilometres from Harare.
Jethro William Mpofu holds a B.A. Honours in English and a post-graduate diploma in media studies from
the University of Zimbabwe. He is now a businessman based in Bulawayo.
Albert Nyathi graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 1992 with an Honours Degree in English and
Theatre Arts. He now sings with his group Imbongi Arts Ensemble.
Percy Makombe holds a B.A. degree in English and a post-graduate diploma in Media studies both from the
University of Zimbabwe. He has worked as a journalist and editor for a number of organisations and was
programme officer for the UNDP in Harare before he left for the United Kingdom in early 2005 for further
studies.
Felex Mafume-Mutasa holds a B.A degree in English and in Theatre Arts from the University of Zimbabwe.
He has taught at Ellis Robins High school in Harare and is now a professional Scriptwriter.
Hardlife Upenyu Mudavanhu holds a BSC Honours in clinical Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe.
He writes poetry as a hobby.
Fungai James Tichavangana is an engineer by profession. He has been a journalist and editor of Vision
Magazine at the University of Zimbabwe for years. Edited by Mufaro L. Gunduza
