vision to make an outdoor, free to the public, visual arts event

2. What makes the Bondi location a suitable place for the Sculpture by the Sea event? Bondi is the
perfect place for an exhibition because so many people go there every day because it is such an
iconic beach. It is also great because the costal walk holds a myriad of natural plinths witch is perfect
for placing sculptures between.

public? Sculpture by the Sea's mission is to provide, free public sculpture exhibitions that transform
beautiful and popular coastal locations into temporary, large-scale outdoor exhibition spaces for all

The Bondi exhibition has showcased over 1,500 sculptures, launched the careers of numerous

of the least resourced art forms in Australia.

by the sea next year. Prises benefit the community because they push the artists to create better
artworks and thus making them more enjoyable by the community.
