Project 1 : CMS (Combat Management System)

Synopsis

The CMS system is designed to process and evaluate Information, which Can be used by system
to envisaged and execute a variety of tactical functions designed to assist the command in the
decision making process. The Project is under progress. The project is part of a command and
control decision support system for Indian Navy. The project is to cater for the operator to easily
enter his tactical commands using Touch Input Device and intuitive embedded GUI.

Synopsis : Embedded Application Network interface unit (NIU) for Real Time System of
CMS_SNF ship (Combat Management System - CMS for Indian Navy)

This network consists of NIU (network interface unit) with two types of communication cards, one
to connect external non-ATM equipment called line card and the other is a Processor Card (called
SRC), which collects data from all line cards, process and converts it to ATM format for delivery
to ATM network. The software said above resides on the Processor Card of NIU unit.

Responsibilities : Preparation of Test & Validation Plan (TVPL) and Test & Validation

Procedure (TVPR) based on SRD (Software Requirement Document) and SyRS (System
Requirement Specification).

Project 2 : POLNET

Synopsis

This system works with hybrid earth station and personnel earth station The network will provide
voice, fax, data communication between district police HQs state police HQs and central police
HQ in New Delhi using SATCOM technology extension of connectivity to police station in each
state is providing using MART( Multi Request Radio Terminal) system through respective HQs.
