Spring 2015 menswear kicks of in London with a clean and fresh palette -
minimal white. Fabrics are crisp and cool from high-tech fabrics to classic knit. Pure white at ALEXANDER
MCQUEEN by Sarah Burton showcased impeccable tailoring for spring. A fashions most-wanted, CRAIG
GREEN was praised by many fashion editors, and his collection of knitwear will sure to be a hit at Dover
Street Market. Another British designer, NASIR MAZHAR, played with technical fabrics in pure white.
From the urban street to Savile Row, London was all about white for spring.

From pale pink to dusty blue, London men are not afraid to wear
pastels. A hue mainly for womenswear has been a big favorite in menswear for Spring 2015. HACKETTs
ensemble suit separates in pink tone looked dandy and preppy. A mix of diferent pastels at TOPMAN
DESIGN looks beach-ready. A quirky London designer, BOBBY ABLEY, was inspired by Disneys The Little
Mermaid and his lavendar sweat-set looks perfect for spring. Designers at COMMON MEN used the re-
versed side of denim to create pastel blue.

The 70s was the trend that showed up from many designers in London for Spring
2015. Some designers took the idea almost too literal. TOPMAN DESIGN and KATIE EARY collections
looked something out of Starsky & Hutch or The Beatles album covers. The use of bold colors and fared
denim was right on trend. GIEVES & HAWKES gave a nod to the 70s by incorporating suede jackets and
tailored suits. London designers seem to go beyond and over-the-top but the looks seem to work for
groovy Englishmen.

Get ready to rumble! Spring 2015 menswear is in a fghting
mode. From oversized shorts to nylon track jackets, London designers are ready to win it. KTZ, one of the
top favorites in London, updated its look with black-and-white graphics. E. TAUTZ and CHRISTOPHER
SHANNON played with oversized and loose silhouettes. More and more designers swayed away from
the skinny silhouettes and more into roomy and boxy cuts. CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN and his technical
fabrication of sheer nylon jackets and lightweight Neoprene sweatpants looked new for Spring 2015.

If we can bring one item back for spring, it is the denim
jacket. The denim jacket has not been on the runway for some season, but for Spring 2015, top design-
ers are in favor of this classic item. Christopher Bailey at BURBERRY PRORSUM emphasized the denim
jacket by showcasing diferent washes from dark to white. JAMES LONG and KATIE EARY updated the
classic jacket with appliqus and quirky prints. A reversible denim jacket at COMMON MEN looked quite
fresh for spring. This must-have item is the one to watch, especially in Milan.

London designers love prints. For any great inspiration, this is the place to
look for new and innovative motifs. KIT NEALE, the London design duo to watch, has been creating
unique prints for the past few seasons. Their kitschy prints are beginning to be recognized by many
department stores. Print mixing at TOPMAN DESIGN and Jeremy Scotts MOSCHINO looked refreshing
and new for Spring 2015. The scenic jacquard sweater at J.W. ANDERSON is not exactly a print but it is
defnitely a new inspiration.
