Background of the Product

A BANANA is an edible fruit produced by several kinds of large herbaceous flowering
plants of genus musa. In some countries, bananas used for cooking may be called plantains but
here in our country we used banana for dessert after we ate our meal. The fruit is variable in
size, color and firmness, but it is usually elongated and curved, with soft flesh rich in starch
covered with a rind which may be green, yellow, red, purple, or brown when ripe. This fruits
hanging from the top of the plant.
Musa species are native to tropical South and Southeast Asia, and are likely to have
been first domesticated in Papua New Guinea. Banana are grown in at least 107 countries,
primarily for their fruit, and to lesser extend to make fiber, banana wine and as ornamental
plants. In 2013 BANANAS were fourth among among the main world food crops (After rice,
wheat and maize) in financial value.

MARKETING MIX
PRODUCT
Costumer is the manager of every enterprise, as the saying goes, COSTUMER IS
ALWAYS RIGHT. They will buy a product that will suit their taste buds. Banana peel coffee
came from Musa acuminate and Musa balbisiana, Famous for its strong and flavorful taste. I
also offer other flavors of coffee like mocha fraff, tsokoo coffee. I also serve a variety of pastries
such as pandesal, mammon, bibingka and puto, and for short order meals I have tapsilog,
tocilog, mixilog, chixilog and hotsilog in which every customer may avail to satisfy their
cravings.
PRICE
Price is the amount of money or other consideration asked for something, as amount for
which it is traded. It refers to the fixed value of a product that a costumer paid upon buying.
The price that I want to sell the coffee at the ranges of 50- 60 pesos. While the food price ranges
to 20-50 pesos. This products are more affordable than the leading competitor. And for
classification, the price of the said products will increase 5% when it cost increase too.
Placement
The location is an important consideration in establishing a business. It should test
whether the product will be profitable ,if the costumer will feel comfortable, free from danger,
less competitive but full of target customers.
The location that I choose then lacson st..as my area of business because its the
perfect place wherein a large number of students, employees and even ordinary people are
within that area, and it I one of the nearest coffee shop in that said universities, thus the
students tend to go there.
PROMOTION
When talking about promotions, I prefer pliers, tarpaulin and promo offers like buy 1
take 1 to considered to attract the attention of the target markets. In relation with this, I
prepared some strategies that could benefit them, like the first two costumers who enter my
shop will grant a free short order meals once a month.

MARKETING STRATEGIES
Product Life Cycle
The proponents use product life cycle to determine the rate of new product development in its
market so, they use the marketing strategies in selling the product.
Introduction Stage
In this stage, through distributing flyers and special promo it will help the business more
familiar to the consumers. In connection with this, he proponents can predict that the sales will
start to increase.
Growth Stage
In this stage, the product sales start to grow in a very rapid pace. To maintain this, the
proponents will continue using marketing strategies like creating a special promotion or
gimmicks to help the business grow more.
Maturity Stage
In this stage, the product sales growth slowly declines because the consumers have
tendencies to change the type of stores they patronize. To avoid this, the proponents must
improve their product. They must add new flavors that are new to the taste of every consumer.
Decline Stage
In this stage, products always go through the decline sales because of changing the
consumers wants, needs and increasing competitors, because of these, the proponents will
think of a new promotion or by adding flavors that is new to the taste of consumers.
SELLING PRICE
BANANA PEEL COFFEE to be sold within Metro Manila in the initial operation of the project
would have a selling price of 50-60 pesos. Subsequently, the selling price would increase by an
average of around 7.5% annualy.

banana peel then add on the flavors to complete the product desired by the costumers, Each
cup will serve fresh and newly made, with the accordance of costumers expectation.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The manufacturing process is very critical because it will determine the quality taste of
the product, which every costumer is looking for. A great cup of coffee can be produced in 3
minutes. Coffee beverage manufacturing can be done in different ways, it depends on the
grind, the brewing time of the coffee and the flavor the costumer wanted.
In manufacturing flow of BANA FEE brewing process is necessary in achieving a great
cup of coffee. The process of extracting coffee in the coffee beans is brewing. This process is
very important because the taste of coffee relies here. We consider different factors when

and the taste of the coffee.
