WELCOME TO WIPRONET

Wipronet is one of the largest Wireless Internet service providers


in the the Pretoria metropolitan and surrounding area. We provide
fast reliable fxed wireless internet connections to home and busi-
ness users alike.
Founded in 2005 to provide basic connectivity to rural users east
of Pretoria, Wipronet has since grown to provide not only internet,
but also Voice-over-IP, faxing, web hosting and more to a diverse
clientele.

Wipronet is een van die grootste draadlose internet diensverskaf-
fers in Pretoria en omligginde gebiede. Ons bied vinnige, betrou-
bare vaste draadlose internet konneksies aan beide tuis- en be-
sigheidsgebruikers.
Wipronet is gestig in 2005 om basiese internet konnektiwiteit aan
plattelandse gebruikers oos van Pretoria te bied. Sedertdien het
ons gegroei en bied tans nie net internet nie, maar ook telefoon-
dienste, faks en webwerf bediening aan n diverse klientebasis.
MANAGING YOUR CONNECTION
Troubleshooting:
If your internet connection stops working, please follow
the steps below before calling Wipronet Support:
Rebooting your antenna:
To reboot your antenna you need to turn of the power
source for your connection. The power source will look
like one of the following, you can simply turn it of at the
wall outlet:
Check your cables:
Please make sure that the outdoor antennas cable is
plugged in to a port marked with one of the following
labels:
P+Data | POE | Power + Data
Your wireless access point, network switch or computer
should be connnected to the other port on the power
supply marked as below:
Data | LAN | Data Only

Indien u internet konneksie ophou werk, volg asb die
stappe hieronder voordat u Wipronet kontak:
Skakel antenna af en aan:
Om die antenna se krag te siklus, spoor asb die anten-
na se kragbron op, en skakel die kragtoevoer af en weer
aan. Die kragbron sal soos een van die onderstaande
eksemplare lyk:
Gaan die kabels na:
Verseker dat die buiteshuise antenna ingeprop is by die
kragbron, by die poort wat as volg gemerk is:
P+Data | POE | Power + Data
U Wireless Access Point, netwerk switch of rekenaar
moet by die ander poort ingeprop wees. Die poort sal
met een van die volgende etikette gemerk wees:
Data | LAN | Data Only
Rebooting your Wireless Access Point:
The Wireless Access point rebroadcasts
your Wipronet internet throughout your
house. It can happen that it hangs up
from time to time. To fx it, simply unplug
its power supply, wait for 5 seconds, and
plug it back in.
Testing your local network:
You can test your local network by
running a ping. Click on the Start
menu and type ping 10.0.0.1 -t
and press enter.
If the result looks like the frst example, your computer
is communicating with your internet router. If it looks like
the second example, you need to check the cables con-
necting your internet equipment

Toets jou netwerk:
U kan die Ping applikasie gebruik
om u netwerk te toets. Kliek die
Start menu, tik ping 10.0.0.1 -t en
druk enter.
Indien die resultaat soos die eerste voorbeeld lyk, werk
die konneksie tussen u rekenaar en internet router kor-
rek. Indien dit soos die tweede voorbeeld lyk, is daar
fout met die bekabeling of internet router.

You will get usage emails at regular intervals which can
be adjusted by phoning our offce. If you want to check
you current usage, please visit:

You will be presented with a detailed breakdown of your
usage for the current month.
To TopUp your account, please visit:
http://www.wipronet.co.za/index.php/customer-portal/prepaid-topup/
Select your topup options, and remember to tick the
box at the bottom of the page. Your TopUp code can be
found on your daily usage email, in the yellow box:
