Independent research firm RootMetrics awards top spot to AT&T in
recent airport wireless network performance report

PHILADELPHIA, PA, JUNE, 26, 2014 Before the plane lifts off at Philadelphia International Airport, AT&T*
wireless customers enjoy a network ranked highest for data performance by an independent mobile analytics
firm.
Seattle-based RootMetrics today released a wireless data network performance study for Philadelphia
International Airport. AT&T was ranked #1 at Philadelphia International Airport as the RootMetrics Airport
RootScore Award winner for its data performance. **
This study is the second consecutive RootMetrics Airport RootScore study for Philadelphia International
Airport in which AT&T ranked highest.

multiple strategically-placed antennas that distribute AT&Ts wireless network coverage in Philadelphia
International Airport, providing enhanced, more consistent wireless coverage to customers

AT&T ranked first at Philadelphia International Airport for data network performance, according to our
research conducted during the first half of 2014. We tested data performance across all networks in publicly
accessible areas within Philadelphia International Airport, including common areas such as check-in, baggage
claim, and terminals. AT&T ranked first in the Airport RootScore Award for data network performance at
