Purification of the human soul
Renunciation of worldly pleasure Empathize with the poor in hunger
It is eventually to help us be a practicing
Muslim aiming and maintaining theses wisdoms easily even after Ramadan (Dr. Bilal Philips).
Fasting
purifies our souls as it blocks the
Shaitan that circulates in ones body just like the circulation of blood because: Fasting abstain from eating and drinking our soul becomes strong enough wills strengthen No submission to desires Strong at worship IN SHA ALLAH!!!
Once
a Muslim gets strong worship
renunciation (rejection) of the pleasures of the world Muslims attention will be to the Hereafter. IN SHA ALLAH!!!
Abstaining
from the foods Muslim can
realize the hardship of the hunger and thirst sympathizes with the poor and needy helps the to be generous in giving to the poor. IN SHA ALLAH!!!
So
now, have relations with them [ i.e.,
your wives] and seek that which Allah has decreed for you [i.e., offspring]. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night [i.e., sunset] (Quran Al Baqara:187)
1. Seeing the new moon of the month
..So whoever sights [the new moon] of the month, let him fast it.. (Quran Al Baqarah:185)
2. The information about the appearance of
the new moon by a just, trustworthy leagally accountable person in community. 3. When the new moon is invisible, the completion of the thirty days of Shaban . And if the sky is overcast (and you cannot see the new moon), complete Shaban as thirty days. (Al Bukhari (1909) [4/154] and Muslim (2516) [4/193]).
Every legally accountable Muslim resident and
travelers, healthy and ill people ritually pure or impure, and Muslim in state of unconsciousness. It has to done at due time or later in case of legal excuses. ON DUE TIME: Healthy and residents Muslims LATER TIME: 1. Muslim healthy resident women during their menstruation and postnatal bleeding. 2. Muslim residents too ill to fast at due time CHOSE ON TIME OR LATER: 1. Travelers 2. Ill Muslims who can but with difficulty BUT WITHOUT CAUSING THEM HARM.
A disbeliever fasts after repenting and
converting to Islam, he should fast for the Ramadan and not make up for the fasts he missed before being a Muslim. A Muslim child gets to puberty. Before puberty is allowed if physically fit for building up spiritual fitness. An insane Muslim regains sanity. Traveler returns back home A menstruating woman or a woman in postnatal bleeding becomes ritually pure One is just informed after day break that the month of Ramadan has begin.
