Model Year 2000 Engine Identification and Features
Model Year 2000 Engines are identified by serial number 1194039 and above. Engine model code prefix 470
refers to the Model Year 2000 DT 466E. The prefix code 531 refers to the Model Year 2000 International
530E. These engines represent product enhancements which have yielded a more robust engine with
improved performance and durability.
Significant product features contributing to improved performance and durability would include improved
breathing and cooling, valve event enhancements, heavy duty rocker arm and shaft assembly, high efficiency
oil pumps, and increased crankcase and crankshaft stiffness. Additionally, the Model Year 2000 DT 466E and
International 530E now share a common bore providing increased component commonality and decreased
product servicing complexity.

AccesSystem. The catalog provides detailed and current service parts information for the Model Year 2000
