[A] SHOP FLOOR (JOB PROFILE AS A QA inspector)

(1) LINE MANAGEMENT

Insure proper assembly of components.
Welding and heat treatment shop supervision.
QA Documentation and \ISo Documentation
Foundry Process Control.
Vendor inspection according to drawing and other machining aspects.
Using AutoCAD to model a prototype of required vendor part
Responsibility for interfacing with fabrication vendors
New vendor development
Responsible for consistently maintaining quality of material incoming

- Prepare weekly reports of the total spool erection, isometric weight installed, welded dia inches
of supports and joints and joints and the remaining work front with materials available.
- To study isometric drawing, plan drawing and GAD drawings received from clients and to
indentify the pipelines and carry out work.
- Familiar with various type of pipe and support materials, jacketed piping and type of
purging,preheat required during welding.
- To ensure all welding works is being done according to WPS.To assist in making of PQR,
WPQT,ITP according to ASME section IX,ASME section V,ASME B
31.1,B31.2,B31.3,B31.8,API1104,AWS D1.1
- To monitor welders for ensuring proper preheat and purging requirements.
- To ensure that all calibrated instruments and equipment are being used in welding and fit up
activities.
- To make revision drawing on autocadd if there is any revision.
- Check flow direction arrows on valves and verify their flow direction.
- Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves and supports, prior to hydro test
and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after work is done.
- Co-ordinate with the contractors to achieve the targets and schedule set by the planning.
- Issue the work permits ensuring SHE requirements.
- Conducts safety walk through in the site in coordination with safety department on weekly basis.
- Handling packages priority wise and attending client package meetings. Closing punch lists
- Supervision of all piping works and ensures safety and quality standards of client.
- Demand for inspection and approval of all the QA/Qc submittals.
