PAYMENT

If you opted for paying your IELTS test offline, please contact your IELTS test centre
within one working day for details on the available payment methods; if you
experienced any problems with the online payment system, please contact your IELTS
test centre within one working day for assistance.
TRANSFER POLICY
If a candidate wishes to change their test date and transfer to another session they
may do so if they notify the test centre up to 14 days before the selected test date. A
fee of !25 will apply. Please see further information at: http://www.britishcouncil.org

REFUNDS
Candidates who are absent on the test day will normally be charged the full fee,
unless the request is:
- for medical reasons;
- loss or bereavement death of a close family member
- hardship/trauma victim of crime / traffic accident
In the above cases, candidates must provide appropriate evidence in the form of a
medical certificate, a death certificate or police report to support the request.
To request a refund candidate must complete the form available on our website,
attach the appropriate documentation and send it back to us by post, no later than 5
working days after the test date. Late requests will not be accepted and will be marked
as absent and forfeit all claims. Copies sent by fax or e-mail are not acceptable.
The Administrator will advise the candidate within one week of lodging the application
whether or not their request has been approved.
If the application is approved, the candidate will be refunded 75% of the test fee.
Refunds are processed by bank transfer within 3 to 4 weeks.
TEST DAY
On the test day you will need your valid ID (carta di identit) or passport: it has to be
the same document you sent to us for registration and indicated into the
enrolment form.
Please do not bring any unnecessary belongings (i.e. mobile phones, iPads, etc.) to
the test venue as these will not be allowed into the examination room. Please note the
British Council is not responsible for loss or damage of any personal belongings.
Please note: you will not be allowed to sit the exam if we have not received before the
deadline a copy of your ID.
