A// Submission Requirement
The format of Interim #2 will be of a Silent Presentation. The following is to be pinned up at 8am and 1pm sharp
by the Morning and Afternoon groups respectively:

1) Plans
- drawing scale as instructed by your respective lecturer OR to fit your tutorial group site model
- to be drawn to the appropriate drawing conventions with accurate linetypes, lineweights and symbols
- pencil on A3 butter paper

2) Sections
- two cross-sections to be produced
- drawing scale to match Plans
- to be drawn to the appropriate drawing conventions with accurate linetypes, lineweights and symbols
- pencil on A3 butter paper

3) Elevations
- two elevations to be produced
- elevations to include street context and express faade design
- drawing scale to match Plans and Sections
- pencil on A3 butter paper

4) Project Description
- 250 to 500 write-up
- design statement to include references

5) Study Models
- All study models produced since Week 4 to be submitted
- to demonstrate progress and process in the design development phase
- varied series of models that explore main components of design such as massing, formal strategy, spatial
and functional programming, faade and elevational context, etc.

6) **Bonus Detail Wall Section
- this is not a compulsory submission, but bonus marks will be awarded its inclusion
- scale 1:20 to express faade design and details
- section from foundation to roof
- pencil on A3 butter paper

Please note: Failure to submit any of the FIVE main requirements above will result in penalized marks.


B// Assessment Criteria
For more information on the Assessment Criteria (i.e. what we will be evaluating of your design scheme), please
refer to pg. 2 and 4 of your Project Brief under Design Development Objectives and Marking Criteria.


C// Submission Times
As the format of Interim 2 will be of a Silent Presentation, the abovementioned Submission Requirements are to
be pinned up at 8am and 1pm sharp by the Morning and Afternoon groups respectively.

Thereafter the assessment and moderation will be conducted by the lecturers between 8am-10am and 1pm-3pm
respectively. At 10am for the Morning session and 3pm for Afternoon session, we will require that the students
return to the studios for respective briefing sessions.

Please observe the strict time deadline - if your works are not pinned up and clearly labeled with your names by
8am and 1pm respectively, you will be marked as Absent and no marks will be issued for your Interim #2
Summative Assessment.
