Summary:
The following Information technology proposal will cover the Hardware and software needs of

Saint Inc. as determined by CTS Consulting. The recommendations below are for a back-office

Microcomputer system to be housed in the back room of Saints Inc. for accounting purposes, as

well as a pre-existing computer to be set-up as a check-out counter system. The clients have

requested a dedicated file server, wired and wireless ethernet network interface cards, wireless

routers/switch, and then they would like everything to interface together to form a WLAN for

their business. They also want to connect this WLAN to the internet.

Recommendation: While both plans offer very similar services, we would recommend going
with AT&T Fast Access Business DSL Direct as your internet provider. While cable is closing
the gap, DSL is still more reliable especially during peak hours. Also, now with AT&T having
entered into the television market with UVerse, you could bundle your phone, internet, and
television together. This way you could broadcast Saints games and NFL news while your
customers shop. Finally, AT&T includes the ability to have a web presence right off the bat
instead of as an option in the Cox plan.

Although it is the most expensive the Dell Latitude 6430u is our recommendation. It's well-built,
tastefully designed, and comfortable to use. It's also fast and
available with a wide variety of warranty and support options which is an important factor in the
corporate world.






Closing:
