Description

Graduated cylinders are used to measure the
volume of liquid samples and are available in
many different sizes.



SIEVE
A sieve, or sifter, is a device for separating wanted elements from unwanted material or for
characterizing the particle size distribution of a sample, typically using a woven screen such as a
mesh or net


MECHANICAL SPLITTER
The mechanical sample splitter shall have an even number of equal
width chutes, not less than eight for coarse or combined aggregate, or twelve for fine
aggregate. The chutes shall discharge alternately to each side of the splitter.
The splitter shall be equipped with at least two receptacles (catch pans) to hold the two halves
of the sample during splitting. It shall also be equipped with a hopper or straight-edge pan with
a width equal to or slightly less than the overall width of the assembly of chutes, by which the
sample may be fed at a controlled rate into the chutes.
The splitter and accessories shall be designed to allow the sample to flow smoothly without
restriction or loss of material.

VICAT APPARATUS


Vicat apparatus which are used for determination of normal consistency of hydraulic cement,
gypsum plaster and lime and setting time of cement, gypsum plaster and gypsum concrete.
SAND CONE DENSITY KIT

Used to determine the in-situ density of fine graned compacted soil.
The test consists in digging a hole into the ground and then collect, dry and weight the sampled
soil. The hole is than filled with dry sand from the cone container.

Features:
SHT4000 series is servo hydraulic loading and motor driving system and a rugged four or six
