1 Data Centre and TCR Rooms Site Prep Requirements

1.1.1 Data Centre Site Prep a. Electrical & Mechanical i. 2 Units as redundant Three Phase Essential 100Amps from two separate source board with separate routing to be installed. ii. Sufficient 300-500 lux Lighting for entire Data Centre iii. IP CCTV to monitor Personnel/ Visitor physically accessing computers/ devices from front and rear of the racks, preferably with viewing capability at IT Operations area iv. IP CCTV systems storage duration to be in line with hospital operational policy for Security, preferably for minimum period of 4 weeks. v. IP CCTV Camera are to be positioned to monitor the following areas. 1. In and out to the computer room 2. Activities at the front of Computer Racks 3. Activities at the rear of Computer Racks vi. IP CCTV Camera 40in LED monitoring display with network capability to be position and mounted on wall at Vendor Office Room (L6-IT-007) vii. 3 nos. Essential SSO at opposite walls viii. Smoke early detection system with fire protection to be provided that monitors all computer racks and equipment. ix. Underfloor water drainage to be included under the raised/ sunken floor. x. Double door with viewing glass panel opening outward with door access system installed. Door access system to monitor in and out access to the computer room. xi. 24x7 Aircond fitted maintaining at minimum of 23 Degree Celsius. xii. Proper Air Return to be installed
b. Raised Floor i. Raised floor with minimum net clearance of 300mm underfloor ii. Height from raised floor to suspended ceiling should allow for minimum 42u rack + 900mm clearance. iii. Raised flooring should be Mero factory bonded 600mm x 600mm laminate finished tile with an ESD surface 10^6 (10 to the power of 6). iv. Raised floors should be fire proof with coverings are rated as Class 1(self- extinguishing), and electrically continuous throughout, where constructed of earth as per manufacturer recommendations. Each bond shall be made electrically conductive material and should be bonded to the floor pedestal utilizing proprietary cable clamps. Bonded pedestals must be connected direct to the building earth bar or equipontential bonding bar utilizing a minimum of 10mm CSA LSF copper bonding conductor with appropriate color coding insulation v. Systems should be installed with adjustable type pedestals and uses stringers (preferable closed type) for high loading capacity. Minimum loading capacity should be 2000kg rolling load, and 900kg per floor tile, 500kg point concentrated load. vi. Tiles/ Panels should have thickness of approximately 38mm or more. vii. Tiles/ Panels with manufacturer supplied grill cut-outs should be supplied for cool air circulation venting. viii. Tiles/ Panels with cut-outs lined with rubber or plastic grommets for cable routing and entry under the raised floor area, Openings will be of different sizes with brush type or adjustable caps for restricting air flow different sizes with brush type or adjustable caps for restricting air flow through cut-outs. The size of these openings will be a square 10x10 cm or square 20x20 cm as appropriate. The exact number and size of each cut-out tile is dependent on the final distribution of the cabinets and will specified on time of installation ix. Tile pullers (total 2) will be provided. Placards for holding tile pullers will be wall mounted by the contractor within the Data Centre. Placards will be placed about 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the raised floor near the inside of entrance. x. The raised floor structure should be connected to the grounding grid at each pedestal as well as all other under-floor substructures xi. Signal reference Ground (SRG) shall comply to the TIA Standards 607, 606A
c. Suspended ceiling i. Must be dust free type, and of non-combustible material. ii. Each False Ceiling tile should be individually removable for access to area above d. Floor Treatment i. The floor should be heat-insulated, or coated with a heat insulating material to avoid condensation on floors below and above and to reduce the heat transfer. ii. The floor slab should be cement render with smooth surface to avoid water ponding and gradient for efficient discharge. iii. All floor openings are to be seal with Firestop Foam/ Blocks/ Plugs/ Joint Rods. The firestop Foam/Brick will comply to JKR Fire barrier specification. Hilti or equivalent product solutions are to be considered.
1.1.2 Cooling Distribution Unit Room (CDU) Site Prep
a. Architectural, Electrical & Mechanical i. Access to CDU room is from outside of Data Centre ii. The doors are to be lockable iii. Sufficient height kerb to be installed to prevent water leakage to Data Center Room area. iv. Floor level wall penetration as access from CDU room to Data Centre is required for connecting flexible hose from CDU to InRow Cooling System Compressor Unit. v. Water Drainage to be included in the CDU room. vi. 1 Unit Essential 20 Amp Single Phase Isolator vii. Chilled Water Terminated in the CDU room complying for 9 units of IN- ROW cooling Rack Units (refer attached Fact Sheet In Rack Cooling Distribution UNIT.pdf ).
b. Floor Treatment & Finishes i. Water Proofing is recommended ii. Cement Render is sufficient. iii. 2 hrs Fire Rated door with glass panel is required iv. All floor openings are to be seal with Firestop Foam/ Blocks/ Plugs/ Joint Rods. The firestop Foam/Brick will comply to JKR Fire barrier specification. Hilti or equivalent product solutions are to be considered. 1.2 Backup Room Site Prep
a. Electrical & Mechanical i. 1 Unit Essential 20 Amp Single Phase Industrial Commando Plug to be installed at wall. ii. 2 units Essential power source along the wall iii. 24x7 Aircond to be installed with having minimum of 23 C +/- 1 C for estimated device BTU = 7000/Hour iv. Air Return to be installed v. Smoke early detection system with fire protection to be installed iv. Door access system to monitor in and out access to the computer room.
b. Floor & Finishes i. Anti Static flooring e.g vinyl is required ii. 2Hrs Fire Rated door with glass viewing panel is required iii. All floor openings are to be seal with Firestop Foam/ Blocks/ Plugs/ Joint Rods. The firestop Foam/Brick will comply to JKR Fire barrier specification. Hilti or equivalent product solutions are to be considered 1.3 TCR Room Site Prep
a. Electrical & Mechanical i. 2 Units Single Phase Essential 20Amps Isolator terminated with commando plug set for all TCR-Risers (i.e TCR-1, TCR-2, and TCR-H); 2 Units in all other TCR-Distribution Rooms subject to confirmation after Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) as it may be reduced to 1 unit only. ii. Sufficient 300 - 500 lux Lighting iii. 1 units Essential power source along side wall iv. Smoke early detection system with fire protection to be provided v. 24x7 Aircond to be installed with having minimum of 23 C for estimated device BTU = 5000 vi. Air Return to be installed
b. Floor & Finishes i. Anti Static flooring e.g vinyl is required ii. Riser openings 200mm(W) x 600mm(L) fitted with 50mm(H) x 35mm(D) Kerb along riser penetration edge iii. Kerb dimension standardize with Electrical iv. Riser Openings are to be vertically aligned floor-to-floor. v. Kerb at entrance of riser room must be installed. Curb Size 50mm(H) x 35mm(D) vi. Wall and Ceiling Finish Epoxy Paint recommended. vii. No false ceiling/ suspended ceiling required viii. 2 hrs Fire Rated door with glass viewing panel is required. ix. All floor openings are to be seal with Firestop Foam/ Blocks/ Plugs/ Joint Rods. The firestop Foam/Brick will comply to JKR Fire barrier specification. Hilti or equivalent product solutions are to be considered.
