ISGEC John Thompson is one of the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprise in the private sector in India with more
than 5000 employees worldwide. It manufactures and supplies pressure vessels and heat exchangers, presses and boilers in India
and overseas.
Sales and Marketing Engineer (Oil and Gas)
Responsible for exploring and developing new business opportunities in India (for lean gas fired boilers) and in the Middle East
(for oil and gas fired boilers) for our new “oil and gas” division. Established and maintained networks/relationships and liaised
with our technological collaborator Foster Wheeler USA, key government agencies and finance institutions. Assisted a multi-
disciplined team in the bidding, clarification, negotiation and development up to financial close of Greenfield as well as of
existing project extensions in the region.
ƒ Generated more than 15 enquiries across India and met the annual target in six months.
ƒ Supported sales head in closing a USD 5 million order for BPCL Kochi refinery.

Thermax is a global solution provider in energy and environment engineering with more than 8000 employees worldwide offering
products and services in heating, cooling, waste heat recovery, captive power, water treatment and recycling and waste
management.
Proposal Engineer (EPC power projects)
Responsible for proposing the best system configuration to suit customer’s requirements after articulating their need and their
resources; taking support of different departments, clients and consultants; initiating the tendering process for sub-vendors;
costing of the system followed by pre-bid negotiations; contracting and budgeting before handing over to execution group.
ƒ Repeatedly appreciated and rewarded by company for independently managing enquiries to meet the upwardly revised
targets of USD 350 million for the division. The enquiries ranged from 6.5 to 60 MW in a variety of power plants
projects which includes IPP, CPP, and Cogen, each project in tune of USD 25 million.
ƒ Worked on a variety of power plants and associated systems with wide exposure to AFBC boilers, CFBC boilers, PF
boilers and combined cycle power plants among others.
ƒ Worked as a node of communication between our company headquarter at pune and its southern division.
