I nstructions:
1. In groups of 2-4 students and create a public service commercial about plagiarism.
2. Your commercial should be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length.
3. Your target audience is teenagers from grades 8-12.
4. Your commercial needs to include a definition of plagiarism as well as how to avoid it.
You can also include possible consequences of plagiarizing work.
5. Read through the material from Turnitin.com
6. Compile notes and brainstorm ideas for your commercial.
7. Script your commercial and assign roles and responsibilities.
8. Rehearse your commercial.
9. Final products can be recorded or performed live in front of the class.
10. Be sure to add creative elements such as music, props, and special effects.
