Electrical Trainer (Ref: ET3105)


Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per annum
Location: Trafford Park:
Permanent

Skills and Work Solutions are recruiting a Electrical Trainer to deliver effective learning in order to achieve high
levels of achievement in planned learning outcomes for young people and possibly, adults, whilst providing an
exceptionally good learner experience.
To be based in Trafford Park.


The duties of the job include:

To plan and deliver structured learning sessions that achieve the individual learning aims of the
learner and exceed the normal quality delivery standards for the trade.
Developing an innovative curriculum which enables a mixed group of learners with varied learning
aims to learn and achieve qualifications.
Preparing practical and theoretical learning sessions by producing written lesson plans in the defined
standard format.
Delivering creative and innovative theoretical and practical learning that motivates and engages the
learners, particularly making effective use of new technology packages.
Providing advice and guidance and pastoral support to learners or refer to the Learner Support Unit,
as appropriate.
Ensuring that the sector is a safe environment for learners by effective risk assessment and
management of those risks.
Maintaining effective learner attendance and progress records for individuals and groups.
Carrying out testing and assessment in-line with awarding organisation guidelines.
Liaise with internal verifier(s) regarding the quality of assessments and learners work.


We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Teaching qualifications to Certificate in Education level or equivalent.
Experience of the structure and content of Electrical qualifications.
Experience in delivering outstandingly effective learning to achieve business objectives and learners
requirements.
Commitment to innovative approaches to training delivery, particularly flexible delivery through new
information technology packages.
Belief in the capability of young people and adults to better their lives through success in learning.
Good presentation and teaching delivery skills with groups and individuals.
Effective planning of learning activities and other interventions.
The ability to deal with challenging behaviour
